  • Just received mine in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

    Hmmmmmm....Dodgy gets!
  • Essex this morning....

25 'gifts' on offer, expiring 2nd July!

    Ho hum
  • Another one in Redditch. Phone number is 01527 970084- could be an internet phone number, certainly not a number I recognise as being 'normal' for here.

Might call them for a laugh, now I know what it is!

As I posted on the other thread about this scam, I recieved one today and I'm in SE6 - so they're moving south! Thank goodness I googled before ringing - the handwritten stuff on the blue "Congratulations" slip made it look more legit but I was suspicious of the Mr/Mrs thing.

    Saved again by Moneysavingexpert!

its because they don't hold your personal details! just like the letters you get that say to the occupier!!!!!!!!!

I've just received the same thing in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Maybe the 'gyms' or other businesses supposedly offering these 'prizes' should be targeted by Trading Standards.

I've filed my 'win' in the bin.

if you read the slip properly it does not say anywhere that it is a prize! or that u have won anything! or that its free!!! i called them and am happily settled in my gym!!!!! read it and listen carefully!

Cupcake inlove ..you look like you have googled your own dodgy company and found this thread ..
I wish trading standards would change there approach and go to war on scammers like this ..
  • This mailing has reached South Wiltshire. Looks just like the one posted above by computerbar. Presumably, having lasted so long it is not illegal so what good reporting to Trading Standards?. It may however be of nuisance value & worth a letter to the local paper directing people to this site.
Glad I searched on the name before responding to it. Now filed in recycled paper bin.

Yeah, but they never will though, will they? Not unless the law changes to favour the consumer/citizen and not the scammer.

Sometimes I'd swear that the scammers have got to our lawmakers and made political donations just to get the law to favour them.

Yep - still going in south wiltshire. Survey UK / Matters Consulting. I have identicle complement slip and Congrats ticket, only with different number (as shown by Computerbar above) mine expires tomorrow. So trading standards have not caught up with them.
