Just to let you know they are still targeting the Scarborough area. Got one today and thanks to Google and MSE it's been binned!

Great stuff! But they're obviously still thinking it's worth the cost of Royal Mail delivery to continue to look for victims.

A shame there isn't a regulation or other somewhere saying that all unaddressed mail circulated in this country, by whichever carrier, must incur a £5 per delivery surcharge, payable to the NHS.

That'd put these scumbags out of business overnight.
  • We received one last week. We live in the Dursley area of Gloucestershire. Same style as previous posts. I've binned it and passed on the warning to friends and neighbours.
  • It looks like this scam has reached Worcestershire today.
Telephone number for contacting the company to claim your gift has changed to 01527 970084.
  • I live in Leicestershire. Just got the same thing this morning, so Trading Standards have still not sorted this.
  • We just had ours, after reading this thread I thought the best course of action was to send all their "bumf" back to them in an unstamped envelope!

It's only 29p, plus the hope of an admin charge.... if we all did this, they might think twice.

    :)

I've just received the same thing in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Maybe the 'gyms' or other businesses supposedly offering these 'prizes' should be targeted by Trading Standards.

I've filed my 'win' in the bin.

I received one in Leicestershire today, why can't this type of mailing be stopped, it particularly preys on the vulnerable, and makes me angry. Glad I googled the name and trusty old moneysaving expert came up first.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
  • Hm. West Yorkshrie today - and two to the same address....

Thanks to the information here (found via google) I did not phone them - but I googled it because it struck me as peculiar as I did not have any dealings with Matters Consulting Ltd or Survey UK. And anyway, I never win anything so that made me even more suspicious!
