My bichon has a problem!

Well where do i start? I bought my beloved bichon Misty 2 years ago when she was 6weeks old. She is my pride and joy she even comes to work with me, Earlier this year i had a go at breeding her with the woman i bought her off. 4 weeks later i got a scan to find no pups even tho she had every symptom of being pregnant. I put this down to a hormonal imbalance which apparently is common in small dogs. She has been crying heaps more than normal over the past few months.

The same day as the scan she passed a little bit of blood onto my pants while rubbing her bare belly, she smelt like a puss/infection smell. so rang the vet and was told to ignore it...i wasnt 100% sure so contacted the lady i bought her off and she said she didnt know but if the vet said ignore it try that. well that has been the start of one long expensive drama. she has randomly passed blood and a smelly discharge between now and then. (i have been to the vet more times than i can remember and told nothing wrong!) I finally took her to the city and to another vet where he thought she had an infection and put her on antibiotics- he sent away a urine test which came back clear. That following week she had become peticurlay distressed & unwell. Overall she is happy, bright eyes and healthy but something is not right and i cant figure it out.

The past 2 weeks She refuses to eat her biscuits since changing from the small breed euknuba to low fat euknuba, she was fine for the first bag but wont go near the second one and has been sick along with a dramitic change in her poo. One day is was runny and had a clear coat on it where its normaly soft and not at all runny. She walks slow sometimes and sometimes stands still with tail down and head lowered and wont move and is clearly in pain. He then said shes either allergic to the biscuits or its seperation anxiety- it could easily be either as we are always together but she doesnt ever destroy anything of mine or pee/poo inside when i do leave her so i dont think thats the cause. He recommended a vet prescribed diet which i was open to try. $63 a bag! woah! supermarket brands are like $10 and vet brands are $30 so i was rather shocked...im happy to pay this if it is the problem but i dont understand why i cant go back to the origonal diet i had her on the first year and a half which was raw meat and supermarket brand biscuits. Now the reason im unsure about the allergy is that the brand is very well known in NZ and has many many scienctific tests done regularly and its meant to be the best all natural stuff. I researched the passing blood and discharge and she could have caught herpes from the other dog and may fix itself now shes back in heat...im totally beside myself i want my happy dog back  Also her poo is like a rollercoaster...one day runny, normal, dry, normal, runny etc etc nothing has changed in our usual routine. She is extremely friendly loves ppl, animals etc she is the most socialised dog i know coz she comes to work with me and has grown up around a variety of dogs of different breeds. After trying to breed i felt a lump under her ribs of each side about the size of golf balls and the vet said he couldnt feel them and ignore it (bit a a trend)...the woman i bought her off said they could be fat lumps which dont matter unless she starts to become uncomfortable. If anyone can help i would love to hear from you! thanks :A
