I use either Hellman's or Sainsbury's own brand French mayo, which I think has a nicer texture than Hellman's. But horses for courses.
Just on the subject of H&B's coconut oil - I spoke to the manager in my local one (in London) yesterday - because it's listed as £5.99 on their website, but £9.99 on the shelf. But he told me if you print off the webpage and bring it to the till, they will charge you the web price. So gonna give that a whirl today I reckon. Still not entirely convinced I'll like it, but only one way to find out I guess!

Another vote for Hellman's here.
I'm off to Morrisons in a mo'............I'm going to buy some Marscapone ice cream, a box of small flakes, a tin of strawberries and a bar of white chocolate. _party_
Ok...ok...that's in my head.....I suppose I'll come home with a lettuce and a pack of sausages! Why oh why cant I afford lipo?Herman - MP for all!0 -
Hi, quick question - in the IPD it says only to use mayo with no sugar in it, now I have stood in several shops and read every flippin jar and it's all got sugar in!! I have tried making my own before and I didn't really like it, so which mayo do you use?
I'm on IPD too and use Sainsbury's Organic Mayonnaise.0 -

:T:money: Good to know... I went to H&B specifically to bulk buy the other day because I lurve, lurve, lurve this stuff and it had been mentioned here! Just after I had bought the 9.99 one... always the way eh? The lady at the till was under pressure. Rude to the person in front of me and then very snippy with me when I queried the price. I ended up walking out. I then bought my linseed at julian graves (and it was MUCH cheaper) so that's one in the eye to H&B
I used a huge dollup in my flax seed foccacia bread and OMG... it was fabby! I have also been adding a tablespoon of the mixed seeds (food doctor). It is really better than any slice of white bread. I might go into business! Takin' orders here for very healthy scrummy low carb bread0 -
Now, can I have a moan, please (kissitbetta, I don't mean to raise your ire )? Made carrot and coriander soup for the family this evening. Exceedingly painful as it's total heaven, but I managed to eat nothing but a taste - to check for seasoning, you understand.
Been quite good this week. Have avoided buying any 85% chocolate, which helps! Out to dinner after theatre tomorrow, but only Bella Italia (Tesco vouchers), so will be pretty easy.
I must confess, I do do my share of moaning, but never do I wonder why I don't lose as a result. I know that only too well.I moan purely at my own lack of will power. And, of course, if we all that particular thing in abundance, none of us would be posting on this thread in the first place...
Moan away... I am not king of the world. As long as I can come on and moan about people moaning. :rotfl:

I found it online... google foccacia flax bread. I make half the amount. One cup flax instead of 2 and 2 eggs rather than 5 (hard to do 2 and a half!). I have reduced the splenda and baking powder amounts too. I use half and half golden linseed and the dark linseed. Dollup (well known measure) of coconut oil and a bit of olive oil too.
Is scrum and keeps me regular like0 -
