Badger, give us a clue what you look like, so we can try to pick you out!
I have got a recent photo but won't be able to load it up until this evening... I've got very dark curly hair with a thick straight fringe, pale face and a black/white spotty rain coat. I'm just left of centre, among people in red sparkly top hats (not the red sparkly cowboy hats), second row. My hat fell off about 5 seconds in!
Me Dad pointed out that they often go off into "what's happening in your area", so you might only be able to see it if you're in Wales or viewing the Welsh version of BBC...
Thankfully a quieter day today, so far I've played Guitar Hero on the Wii (first time ever, but I do truly rock), and thrown a wet sponge at my new boss, which really didn't feel right...I've eaten:
- Ground linseed and wheat bran "porridge", banana
- Mini spring rolls, beancurd in peanut sauce
- Apple, berrocca
Pole dancing tonight (on my way back from work) so I may end up grabbing another snack...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Hello everyone :hello:
Laptop died yesterday morning so I was stuck without internet for over a day!! _pale_ OMG I didn't realise how much I used & relied on it until I couldn't use it!! :rotfl: Anyway, back to normal service now. Phew!!
Menu for today
B - buttery scrambled egg
L - salmon salad (tinned salmon mixed with mayo & spring onions, salad leaves, 3 cherry toms, grated cheese, coleslaw)
D - burger (without the bun) & buttered cabbage/leeks
Going to have a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of red wine tonight as it's the weekend!! Yippee!! Hoping to have a BBQ(!!) & sit outside with the chimnea blazing. It's looking like rain & it's a bit on the chilly side so this is not definite but I hope we can as I love sitting out & looking at the stars of an evening. We get bats here too although not sure if they will be out yet.
Anyway, have a good weekend everyone.0 -
Sounds like a fab plan, sweet. Enjoy it
Just another hour or so of [strike]pergatory[/strike] work to go for me then I'm outta here! (Via H&B to collect coconut oil:))
Have a great evening everyone

Ooh, thanks sweet, i haven't thought of having tinned salmon, that'd be a nice change for my salad. I always sprinkle over some chopped feta, makes it look soo nice.
:rotfl: Am having cheesy leeks at some point today too. Had few to use up so have made a big bowl but cant eat many so will save me cooking for couple of days.
Brekky is difficult for me, getting slightly fed up of eggs, only slightly tho as i love em.
Did have salmon today though & it was yummy!!
Good to see everyone still enjoying the cheesy leeks!! :rotfl:
How do you have your eggs in the morning - as the song goes?! I've been having buttery scrambled eggs & they are yummy - I'll post the 'recipe'.0 -
Found this 'recipe' for scrambled eggs & it's much nicer than how I used to make it. Easier to clean the pan as well!!
Crack 2 medium eggs into a small bowl
Add 1 dessertspoon of cream (single or double) - feel free to lick the spoon after - and mix together with a fork
Melt a knob of butter in a small frying pan & add the egg mixture. Use the fork to scramble the eggs until cooked.
This makes lovely rich tasting scrambled eggs - yum!!
Of course you can season to taste but I don't bother.
Sorry if anyone thinks 'why on earth is she posting a 'recipe' for scrambled eggs!! :rotfl: But I didn't know you could make scrambled eggs like this so I'm thinking other people might not know either!! That's my excuse & I'm sticking to it!! :rotfl:0 -

I hate parma ham *spit spit*. I had a chicken thing from M&S that was wrapped in what I thought was bacon and I couldn't understand why it wasn't going crispy. :rotfl:
It's just like thin skinned flesh. (Ok ok so I've been watching too many horror movies lately  )0 -

Ok, one last post - hey I was going stir-crazy without my laptop so I'm making up for it now!! :rotfl:
Discovered another snack - The Laughing Cow 'Giggles' - creamy cheese pods. They are individual pods of er creamy cheese & they are yummy!! Made for kids but who cares!! Softer & creamier than babybels but I eat them the same way.
