generally trying to stick to as low carb as poss.
Il start tommorrow getting back to a clean low carb diet - more natural and see what happens whilst upping veggies...... damn nutskeep calm and carry on :rotfl:

but u are thwarting yrself by eating nuts and berries that are higher in carbs than eating veg and salad and eating rubbish empty carbs sweeteners etc

Guys, I've been feeling pretty awful today and yesterday. Splitting headache all day yesterday, went into a migraine last night and still got a thumping head today, which seems to lessen slightly after I eat.
I know my carb intake has been really pretty low (even by induction standards) but I've also been eating a fair few Atkins bars.
Do you think it's the bars making me feel like this or could it be because I'm just not eating enough carbs?
I've just had an M&S chicken/leek and bacon thing and I'm going to try to up my veg intake later on for dinner so hopefully I'll perk up a bit later on. Right now I feel lousy.
Thoughts?

hi Shykins, My Morrisons red kale has 10.1g carbs per 100g. of which sugars=nil. Maybe it's less if it's green.:D or maybe mine's a misprint.........

hi everyone just thought id give an update as to how things are going.
I had a bad week last week and was starving but i was also eating more carbs and having milk :eek: which i thought id just take any way(started using cream and someone in work got a cuppa with it as no milk left they complained bitterly).
I now have cream in tea and coffee the odd bit of soya milk unsweetened and very low carb. I was also very thirsty, this i have discovered was down to the fruit juices eating into my carb allowance big time and so un thirst quenching, as I drinking like a fish and lips still stiking to my teeth.(im sure there is salt hidding in there somewere).
So also i have started eating a little less veg and lots more fat and doubled the meat intake as well.
I dont feel as tired i have little cravings in fact after i eat if you offered me more food id probably be sick. I have been to the gym 2 times and although i felt wrecked i have to bear in mind its the first in a year iv been.
So anyone struggling my advice is up the fat and meat stick to the carbs and no cheating cause your only prolonging the torture.
Any way did this boasting last wed and went on a bender on thursay hope history will not repeat itself again. pride comes before the fall but we all need to share our triumphs:o

I doubt it - they're certainly banned on the IPD. They're full of artificial sweeteners that your body can't handle. again, the cold fruit tea may help.0 -
