    hello peeps :santa2:

been a bit quiet again know but pleaseed to hear you are all surviving!

almar: well done on your first week! that is fantastic!

HC: life can be rotten at times and you should feel free to get it off your chest

I'm rather pleased this week because despite eating out FOUR(!) times and several bottles of wine my weight has stayed the same this week. I've tried to avoid the carbs on every meal and even only had one roastie at sunday lunch. Normally that would have been a week where i put on at least two pounds so i'm chuffed.

Going to have a real good effort this week to see if i can make room for a big xmas dinner!

    Hello lovelies :hello:

Bloomin cold today innit? I should go out but don't wanna - I can procrastinate for England lol

heehee if i worked on beekeepers weekly i'd have less trouble staying awake at work! :rotfl:

pink - well done on avoiding the carbs - you're doing a better job than me! :T

shykins - would you mind posting the recipe for low carb baileys? i've recently discovered the Asda own-brand version (called Irish Knights - lol v classy) which is about £3.50. Taste-wise, i can't tell the difference betw it and baileys and with bailey's 3 or 4 times the price it's v MSE friendly :money: ... but not v Atkins friendly, obviously:o:D So might have a go at low carb version...

I really shld shift my behind and go out...

    Much love,
    Sazzy xxxxxxxxx

I think they're pretty bad... :( I just watched that episode and that soup does look gorgeous! Might have to make it for the family, and abstain myself.

Was out (yet again) all day today and had lunch at Gourmet Burger Kitchen (2for1 courtesy of MSE, of course ;)). I was expecting very little, but it was gorgeous! Decent-quality food, delicious and cheap! I asked for no relish, and I left the bun, of course, and I was stuffed. Can definitely recommend, whether low-carbing or not.

Not very hungry this evening, so I thought I'd try an IPD recipe - asparagus dipped into a mixture of hard-boiled egg and melted butter. Bloody disgusting. It was like scrambled egg. Unfortunately I still ate it all :o - what a waste of carbs, calories, fat and everything else.

Hope you feel better soon, Lesley. Colds are no fun at all. :(

Saz, my guess is Miniature Donkey Talk. I'm right, aren't I? :D

Hmm HC you could be right about Miniature Donkeys Weekly:rotfl:

But maybe just maybe its Bus Spotters Monthly!!:rotfl: I can see Sazzy and Gilly of a weekend clad in matching pak-a-maks haunting bus stations up and down this fine nation cameras at the ready in pursuit of that elusive photo of the rare bus:rotfl: Complete with obligatory thermos and woolly bobble hat of course:rotfl:

Well enough of the speculation still feel like poo if anything i feel worse today than I did yesterday:eek: I've been up since 4am and am on my 3rd brew:eek: as I like my brew with plenty of milk I can see this being a lot of liquids and little food day just to keep my carbs low.I'm off my grub anyway so no great hassle.I know I wanted to shift an extra couple of pounds before Chrimbo but this wasnt the way I envisaged it:rotfl:

Aww Ravy! Hope you can have a little nap at some point today..?

I'm on my pre-Christmas fast this week, so no solid food just soya milk (and I sometimes pop in a bit of sugarfree Crusha to liven it up) and green tea. Only been going since Monday and I already feel lighter and more flexible...

I arrive at the parents' on Friday which is why I'm starting so early - I expect to be "fed up" once I get there

lolol ravy,. i will have u know bus spotting is a very interesting hobby, specially round here where we get none!!!... sorry u feel crap still hopefully it will be gone by chrimbo

i think some people eat sweet potatoes in maintenance with not too many problems but again what is ok for some isnt for others (she says knowing she cant eat nuts sighhh)

just had a funny email had to share, apparently male reindeers drop their antlers in november whereas females keep theirs til late spring therefore all santas reindeers are female, hardly surprising is it cos only a woman could direct a fat man in a suit round the world in one night and not get lost!!!!!

shant even begin to tell u what i ate at ds birthday dinner at chinese last night, suffice to say i shall be VERY good for the next week <whistle>... cant belive my baby is 12! sniff
