Really sad that the UK has gone this way.

Not attacking the OP....just the system which means its more profitable to do nothing :(

Sorry, just wanted to say that, know it's of no use to the OP!

I wish: Are you for real, or just larking about?

Shouldn't you sort out the visa issue before you do anything else? Because, am I correct in thinking your OH cannot work anyway without that?

Also, you have been elsewhere for four months recently, so who has been keeping your OH and 19 year old sister? They must have been living on something?

And why couldn't your OH apply for his own visa? Two month holidays are hardly flying visits so you should have had time to apply anyway, surely? You could do it from anywhere in the UK I'd have thought?

If you left the country for those 'holidays', you would not have been entitled to IS while away either!

You both need to work more than 16 hours to get help with childcare and yes, your HB and CTC would be reduced - but then you'd have a higher income coming in!

But really, all of this is irrelevent if your OH is here illegally isn't it? That has to be the priority right now, surely. No sense talking about building better lives if your partner is going to be deported in the meantime!!!

Tbh, your posts don't add up at all!

If this is genuine; what is this family living on? The husband can't work/get benefits, the sister's not working and not claiming and the OP is disappearing on holiday all the time! it's either a windup or there's something very fishy going on!

Can we have a smaller prize (miniature mars bar perhaps) for any who say they thought this was a nice forum, but were wrong, and they will not be back?
