Thanks for the reply Inca... i think this is my good deed for the day. I'm sure with her not working at the minute the extra £20 a month will come in handy. I think I charge her a 10% finder's fee... or a bottle of Rose! LOL!

I know this is an old thread, but I just thought I'd post. I think you can claim the 25% discount if your child is disabled and you are a carer for them.

If you look at the form you fill in for the discount:

then one of the options is living solely with a carer which would be the case for two adults, one of whom was a carer for a disabled child.

Just pointed this out to two neighbours, so hopefully they'll get a few £££ back. :j

we used to get it no problem in uk, when posted to germany and had to renew in the april like you have to we have had dramas, 2 years later still waiting, ended up complaining and was threatened with being charged if we complained about not getting it , submitted forms, lost this has been 9 times can prove all cause keep copies, coy clerk admitted submitted but nothing and our sfa and rao refuse to do anything even after quoting jpa.
