I did see that, but you have to remember that the site is set up mainly for monthy contract mobiles. That is something they have to say as the monthly charges for a contract mobile depending on your calls.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Re the £10/month:
I've now spoken to 4 people. 2 say that online PAYG is a ddebit system and you will be charged £10 top up per month automatically by dd.
The other 2 said definitely no monthly charge on PAYG
The 4th person is currently emailing their accounts dept to clarify, and said he'll phone me back, and email me the response too if I wish. (I will ask him for this).
All seems pointless now though as it looks like there aren't any available according to gt1966 - post number 49? - ordered at something past 1 this am, but has had an email to say there's none available. If they really are refurbs, the stock would be limited.*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
If I don't reply to you, I haven't looked back at the thread.....PM me0 -
When I completed my order and printed out the documentation, there are 2 columns near the bottom of the page, 1 says direct debit monthly bill and that is set to £0.00 and then there is a one off card payment that says £14.990

Oh...thanks to the OP
Two mins after I ordered I got this too, hope it comes soon. Thanks to OP.
My OH dropped his phone which was similar to this into a Loch when he was fishing , never worked since. We have mobile phone insurance but there is an excess of £30. Much cheaper just to get this and swap sim cards.

That's what I saw. I took an electronic copy of my order page and if anything goes 'haywire' (ie, they try to take a direct debit) I can use that to sort it out.
Not sure about the order tracking....I'd just completed my order when I saw your post. So I posted the link before I'd checked it out.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

seriously doubt they going to charge £10 a month (think relates to the offer on the sim card), since its a pay as you go purchase and final check out states one off payment. It confusing since they using the monthly contract details/heading even for pay as u go purchases ( they just zero it for pay as u go)0
