Light at the end of the tunnel!

Despite them telling me by email that I wouldn't be getting my order, a nice lady called me today and offered me a replacement.

As they haven't got any v220s left, the phones I'm getting are a wonderful Nokia 6320, worth £200!!

Have to say I'm quite chuffed but I won't believe it until I get them in my sweaty palm.

Could you tell me how you complained (Phone/email/letter)? :)

    I complained via email.

Actually as I ordered two and you were the thread starter for this great offer I may be able to help.

I bought two, one for my missus and one for a friend who was after a new mobile. The missus is on O2 so shouldn't be a problem, but my mate is on Orange. Don't know if these phones are unlocked or unlockable, but if they aren't my friend at work wouldn't be interested. In which case, I would be more than happy to pass one of the Nokia 6230s to you at cost price.

    I'll keep you informed.

Hmmmm... I'm wondering if I should be happy that I received the Motorola V220.

I would be at that price. Not a v547 but some didn't get any.

I fear this maybe more bad news for Johntea.

If it is a 6230 as you state then it certainly can be unlocked free remotely, if it comes locked at all from O2.
Not sure about a 6230i though.

Edit: or is it a 6320 as originally stated - don't know if these can be unlocked for free remotely
