We also had an issue with one of their rotisserie chickens which you cook in the bag. Without going into too much detail, let me just say that it had some contents within the cavity which you would normally expect to be removed - normally you'd notice, but as it was a roast in the bag product, there is no reason to look inside before cooking. Needless to say that the issue was only discoved after the chicken had been eaten - I've not touched one since.

I accept that this could happen from anywhere, but in my 40 odd year experience, I have never come accross it before.

Just been back on the M&S website, just to make my final decision on what to buy tomorrow & the Truffles have disappeared from the list!!! Gutted!!

If it hadn't been for this forum, I'd've thought I'd dreamt it!!

Damn, I knew I should have gone on my lunch today!!

The new list shows many more wines than yesterday (when I looked, only 3 were listed, one of each, plus the orange juice & truffles)

I plan to go tomorrow.

I will get 2 deals, I will get the Ready to Roast Chicken x 2 & get the free chopping board. I don't like ready made lasagnes & stuff even markes, I prefer a plain bit of meat. chicken or fish.
I will get a Hot Chocolate Fudge Pudding & a cheese selection (or just 2 chocolate puds) & Belgian Chocolate Truffles x 2 (for xmas ) we are not drinkers, I have 3 bottles of wine put away for xmas & we probably won't use all that:o

Not sure what side dish to get, I love the salads but non in it:mad:
Maybe 1 each of these Caesar Vegetables & Mediterranean Vegetables, but I'm open to suggestions:D

Its a mess in the Epsom Branch, their are a couple of stickers, but trying to find what is eligable is a nightmare- i gave up.

The chocs will still be in the deal if anyone wants them. It's just with the small selection of wine that was originaly included they probably sold to quickly and so they stopped advertising them.
As for all the additional wines now added, they were always in the deal just not advertised. There are back of products for all parts of the deal that get included if everything sells out. But the back ups will always be limited and you can still miss out on the deal if they sell out to.

Woo I managed to get myself a deal for the first time
I got the Chicken and Pesto, Dauphinoise Potatoes and the Chocolate sponge and a bottle of the Los Nucos Chardonnay wine.

Just me and my son tonight so we will have a treat as Daughter is off to Sheffield to see McFly

Got the two chickens to get the free board. they had truffles in Glasgow Silverburn, but these are the ones that were on offer last Christmas, I'm sure they were £2.99 a box.......they are really nice, fab value at that price but def not worth £6.99!

I was disapointed this time round, i guess I'm used to the fab chickens, may not bother the next time if it's a similar offer.
