Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Got mine today - I had a medium chicken £7.18 - it was the biggest left.
Actually bought 2 of the deals as the puddings tempted me soooo much.

    Mmmmmm
  • I got a chicken for £8.98, a cheese board, (the blue cheese is a Stilton, there's also a cornish brie and a davidstow cheddar), the pork, sage and buttered onion stuffing, and a merlot (oops which I have just opened). Should have come to £20.05, thus saving me £10.05. I'm loving this credit crunch.

Incidentally, did anyone know that Tesco are doing a similar thing in their Finest range for £9 - for me it's M&S all the way though. I can't afford to shop a lot in M&S other than occasional treats, so I'm loving this!!

Couldn't find any chucks over a tenner so took an 8.50 one......went for the trad roasting veg, the Baglio wine and the cheese selection ;)
    saved over a tenner!!!
Put chuck and cheese in freezer for Chrimbo. Will use veg up as I can't imagine it would freeze that well .....has anyone tried??? Will try and put wine aside for Chrimbo but don't think it will last that long !!

Just eaten the chocolate fudge pudding. Couldn't wait til the weekend. Had to eat it this evening :p

Also got the chicken pie, stuffing and... not sure which wine. Don't really drink. I'm saving them for Christmas. Now have 4 bottles put away.
  • I couldn't get near - a load of old ladies were clustered round the end of aisle, confused because the cheese was on the 'side dish' shelf. I hadn't realised it included wine too, haven't bought one of these deals before, I only went in for tomatoes because I was on the high street and in a hurry. I can't afford m and s food and wouldn't normally shop there.

This is fab! thanks for bringing it to my attention!

A lot of people don't realise the deal includes the wine, that is part of what makes it such a good deal. I would struggle to get a meal and dessert in any restaurants near me for a tenner but here you get that for two people and wine is included too!

This time the menu includes medium and large chickens, pork medallions and cheese and onion pie for the main course.
Roast potatoes, traditional veg for roasting and asparagus tips for the side dish.
Hot choc fudge pudding, sticky toffee pudding and pain au chocolat bread and butter pudding for dessert and also a choice of over 10 wines, red, white and rose (some stores won't have all the wines) or if you don't drink then there is the twin pack orange juice which is available.

Wow all that for a £10
