They did say they were having a delivery today.

So they are having more deliveries then? I went into the Tamworth store at about 6pm last night and they'd completely ran out of chickens, the chicken breast thingies, the mediterranean veg and the salad bowls - I didn't even think to ask as I assumed they wouldn't restock on a sunday?

We managed to get the last two large chickens over £6.50 in value as part of two deals after this thread inspired us to go into a local store as soon as it opened this morning. Apparently, this price was already 25% off so I shall be enjoying my lemon mousse guilt-free this evening (well almost!).

There didn't appear to be any moussaka, or med veg - and the asparagus was from Peru so I wouldn't let DH have any of that!

The store that we visited for the first time today was a very new one and DH and DOS were overwhelmed by the food and display in general (and the sample saucers of bakery cakes and pastries in particular!). I was impressed that they seemed to have a number of competitive half price / 3 for 2 /buy 1, get 2nd half price offers and the 2 packs of mince for £5, like Tesco - although if I went back I don't think I'd dare take my menfolk with me!
 We'll be toasting MSE with our roast tonight and chicken meals for the rest of the week.

anyone know if they put new out each day, will tomorrow be the last day?
  • Bought 2 meal deals and 4 additional bottles of wine that the OH likes. Saving of £15.73.

Did not get the extra 10% off the wine. Only 25% for six bottles. Did you need a voucher?

  • we brought a deal for the first time this time around went on fri.

got a large chicken priced at £6.93, med veg, trifle and wine. chicken went in freezer for when we have some guests as husband is bored of chicken sandwiches after m and s had them half price.

love their chickens as although not free range are well looked after and come in those trays so less washing up!!

i wasnt being nasty it just seemed you had bought about 6 meal deals , i am not bothered with how many you bought i was just making a humorous comment because it seemed you had bought an awful lot .
i have no problem with it , obviouslye their is no limit to the amount you can buy so good on you.

i hope you enjoy all the food you bought
Obviously I misunderstood, I apologise unreservedly.
