Well I'm going home now to put my toothbrush into a spotty hankerchief, fill a carrier bag with apples (I hope those that are coming to the meet, are some of the people who wanted apples.....could be embarrassing trying to foist apples on unwilling strangers
) and help DD load her car with stuff for uni.
I'm driving tonight, she's driving tomorrow
I guess I'm putting petrol in the car :rolleyes:0 -
DS2 announced that next years flat mates are likely to be 2nd and 3rd year females.
To get him used to sharing with women, I used his razor to shave my armpits last night in the shower. :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Day 69 - I think
I've spent in all about 3 hours on Skype with Popeye :smileyhea
And I still have warm fuzzy feelings from yesterdays meet in Lovely Leeds :grinheart
[STRIKE]Those[/STRIKE] We DFW's are a lovely bunchI was worried that I'd not be able to spot them all when I turned up, but do you know Ginger Ste looks exactly like his Avatar
DD had taken me round the market beforehand, and it's a different world up there. There was a stall that had Girdles  , enormous, waist high Y-fronts and all manner of pinnies. At the butchers you could buy Cows hooves at £2.50 a go. DD led me away from that muttering something about Mad Cow Disease. But there's also a Lush and a Primark
Today I have used up most of my remaining stash of chocolate making Jaffa Cake Bars for my packed lunches. Should last until Monday.....
Bought DD's travel insurance for £12.95, with £10 cashback on Quidco
Had a happy moment when I thought I'd sold a great load of books on Amazon, but it turned out to be a batch of books expiring.
And thanks to yesterday I think I have another scene plotted in my mind......:D0 -

Day 70?
The jaffa cake bars are yum.
I'm alone in the office this morning.......I may get some DFW stuff done. I need to review my figures....and update my signature I think I'm missing some money ..... aren't we all? :rotfl:
Not much time now to reach my goals.
But I think I've written off getting the garden sorted. About all you could say is that the front garden is acceptable. And that's the bit that shows to the public. (Who said all fur coat and no knickers????) The back garden is more a nature reserve :rotfl:
Popeye says I can write while I'm away with him, but I can think of things I'd rather do.0 -

Not really generous. I'd have to do something with them and I have a freezer full already
You stop me feeling guilty for letting them rot.
It was lovely to meet people in the flesh wasn't it? And they're just as nice as they are on here.0 -
Ha Ha, I know you didn't now
But I'm dead jealous of the sea bass......
Squz me - twas all reduced to clears that I got!
I don't like fish but now have a whole sea bass and I think 3 rainbow trout in the freezer. A friend will take the seabass (and pay) and the trout will come in useful for dinner parties for my muslin/jewish friends!0
