    Morning Shaun,
walking to work with mummy or daddy is a special time for little uns. And half an hour is a good stretch. It's better than a quick drive, there'll be an opportunity for es to say if he's at all pre-occupied with anything, nervous about his first day for example.

And on the way home he'll either be bursting with energy and talking about his day in which case you'll have a suitably ready for bed child in the evening. Or the half hour stretch will be long enough for any anxieties to bubble to the surface. Walking to school is a luxury nowadays ;) I envy you.

(well I do now, while it isn't raining or sleeting :D )

Is it me, or are Pigsback not even trying to tempt anymore?
    There are 2-4 clicks a week :p 10-20p
A £10 voucher costs £11.50  which makes clicks alone take 57-115 weeks
And all the answers to the quizzes are number 1

Or last of the Summer wine:o :rotfl: :rotfl:

If that is the case I have been middle aged since I was 19 - I like scrabble and I like Last of the Summer Wine!

    I'm feeling a lot better thanks :D
But peb's post made me feel a right loser :rotfl: (I *know* that's not what was meant, but she's right, I've been skulking at home, failing in my challenge and making myself feel worse for that failure :o )

So I've got a list of things to do, before we (DD et moi) go to Leeds on Friday.
And I've only had one sad-ish e-mail from Pater hinting that it would go better if I were there. ;) to which I replied that bro' was a lot stronger than me and could heave the carpet about much better.:D

It certainly wasn't what was meant!

I just think if you are not careful you will be that busy helping the aged Ps and your family and will not enjoy yourself.

    See you on Saturday.

Ps - I was referring to the clean type of scrabble of course.

I think Last of the Summer Whine is to Northern taste.
Us softy southerners just find it tedious ;)
(Bob are you north of the Watford Gap??)

each to their own. I enjoy the clean scrabble, but am looking forward to Scrabble-keep-fit in 17 days time :D:D:D:o

Eastenders is def. depressing, and Corrie St is better but....

But my fave programme is still House :o

Well I've lost count of what Day number I'm up to  I thought it was perhaps Day 61, but I've *only* got 17 days to go so perhaps it's Day 65 :D
And I'm going out tonight to see friends at the Drama group. :D:D

My signature is up to date with my Quidco money, but my debt total isn't much improved as I had a plane ticket to buy this month :D As for the weight, it's stuck :o and the lawn remains unmown because of the rain.
