Evening Shaun :hello: hope your evening & night are peaceful. Sorry to hear that elvin is poorly. Such a worry when they are so little.
And es enjoying school how great is that? :D

Hopefully Ma in law will ease the workload and not add to it? I hope you are able to think of tasks that she could do to help? Such as story telling with es, and some cooking for you all? It's good that you get on with her - unless you are being sarcastic??? :o

I shan't ask what you were doing up at 1.30 :o;)

And I can't imagine having to entertain my in-laws at such a time, whereas my parents would be stonking. Must be to do with being parents of daughters:D - you'll have to break the mould in 20-30 years time :D

Actually this reminds me of the time 20+ years ago as a new parent and it was not a pretty sight. But my then husband hated visitors EVER, so all the rellies were limited to an hour at any time :rotfl: :rotfl: I was only about 12 years old, so I agreed to his instructions :o I'd like to see anyone stop me having visitors now.:rotfl: especially if they were useful visitors.

I probably won't be thinking of you on the 19th, I land on that day :D:D :j

    Day 67

and again I haven't listed anything on e-bay :o ......perhaps I should as it is 5p listing today.
I haven't been up in the loft to get a bag for tomorrow (have I mentioned that I'm going to Leeds tomorrow night? :D )
and I haven't mown the lawn  it's too wet again.

But DD and I went out to get paint for the outside of the house and have had a lovely girlie time. DS2 cooked for us and helped unload the shopping.
I phoned Mr T because my BOGOF leeks were just BO~ no ~GOF and I didn't get a 5p a litre coupon. They refunded my leeks (free leeks :j ) and gave me a coupon for £5 off my next shop - and this code can be combined with an XX code for £10 I already have. :D

This afternoon the office is empty :j :j
    So I have
    • researched and bought my travel policy (via Quidco of course)
    • eaten virtually non-stop since they left at 12 noon :o
    • discovered a leftover company promotional item (swag) that will be perfect as a thank-you pressie to the friend who helped move the wardrobe
    • made a list of people who should have Christmas presents from us this Christmas (in my new notebook :D )
    • played on-line Sudoku
    • applied for a free sample of shower gel on Pigsback
    • caught up on a few diaries
    Work??
(It's about to catch up with me :o )

Olive - is the offer on instore for Mr T re the Leeks do you know? Want to pick some up for soup but hate our local store with a vengeance as it is the size of an aircraft hanger!

Would they deliver me a pint of milk and 2 packs of leeks?

Edited to say : Just a pint of Milk and 2 packs of leeks....

these were not just Mr T's leeks they were organic leeks :D
I told them I'd not have bought organic unless they were BOGOF :rotfl:

And I don't know whether there is a minimum spend for a delivery, but delivery costs £4-£6 depending on your choice of slot. Makes 1pt milk and 2 packets of leeks a tad more expensive.

if you don't grass on me; the reason I have started using the delivery (apart from the introductory £5 from Quidco and the £10 voucher from the freebies board) is for the 3 bottles of wine for £10 :o Only certain wines -it takes some browsing

They have some very nice wine at £5.99 a bottle, if you buy 6 you not only save £15.94, but you get another 5% discount, and according to my receipt, you get 5% of the £5.99 price:j
If you struggle to get to the £50-£70 needed to get the tenner off (depending on your e-coupon) it is an easy way to qualify, as the coupon is applied to the pre-discount total. :D:D (my shop last time totalled £57, but I used a £10 off a £70 spend coupon) I don't think that happens in store.

I'll brave the store - you'll see if I survived tomorrow!

I have got better at being discipined now in store and can usually stick to a list other than reduced to clears. I got 5 packs of 2 free range chicken breasts on reduced to clear last sunday which should last for ages.
