I read that in the last crash, it took 4 years for houses to drop 20%. Anyone got the stats to know if that is true?RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I've struggled to get numbers going back past 1974. I'd be interested in good sources of historical house price data too.0
