I put some Stardrops into one of those plant mister things and top up with water, it lasts longer and is just as effective.
Ace for cleaning the bathroom as well as everywhere else.
For the toilet, I spray it round the bowl and then give a good scrub using the toilet brush..comes up just as clean as those expensive thick toilet cleaners.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Elbow grease;)
The trick is to get out of the mindset of a specific product per job. I have a general detergent - either Flash liquid or Stardrops - which I use diluted for general cleaning or occasionally neat. This does for everything - in a spray bottle for wiping down kitchen surfaces, in a sink of water for cleaning the bathroom etc.
I also have a toilet cleaner and some thin bleach. The bleach is used for heavy disinfecting. Vinegar is very good for cleaning stainless steel stuff.0 -
many thanks will be looking for stardrops and ace , for my cleaning:money:2012 - Emergency savings fund goal by December 2012 £3000.000

Vinegar is very good for cleaning stainless steel stuff.
And so is baby oil - don't laugh its true the cleaners at the University where I used to work swore by it - they used it on all the door plates for removing finger marks.
At home I use a lot of ecover stuff that I have bought with moneyoff vouchers. I use Zoflora for cleaning my sinks and sometimes cleaning the floor, ecover washing up liquid and loo cleaner plus I have bleach for heavy stains.0 -
Hi there
I have just picked up my 1st bottle of stardrops...well 2 actually to take back to me with Germany..and i also found 1 with Amonia so i thought i would try that too :-) they also did one with pine scent (all from homebargains)..but that smelt too much like public toilets :-)
I already use zoflora and other than that its vinegar, microfibre cloths etc...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

The amonia one is good for the kitcken/cooker
yellow one work tops, doors window frames etc
green one (pine) floors & the loo
I buy mine from Wilko's, or a cheap diy or £ store often sell them also.

You can use Stardrops for cleaning wood or laminate floors too. I hadn't thought of putting it in a spray bottle though, better go write that one down !0

Just been reading about this Stardrops. So all I need to do is mix some in water in an old spray bottle (I have an old Flash kitchen spray bottle) and then use that for kitchen tops, bathroom and toilet? If thats the case it sounds fab!
What sort of quantity should I mix with water would it be half and half for example?
