    Please can you advise me on the best old style money saving cleaners . I need something for cleaning toilet, multi purpose cleaner for work tops and cupboard doors. As its a new year i want to not buy all these products and would rather use cost effective products , cloths:p etc

    advice please
    not sure about vinegar as I really dont like the smell and dont like it on chips either !!!

    you can disguise the smell of vinegar by adding essential oil, I like lemon and/or lime

    :j star drops, do a search on here loads of threads, one bottle and you will be converted!

    wet and dry newspaper for windows...add a drop of lemon if you dont like vinegar.

    micro fibre cloths

    your own elbow grease.....have tried DH as a replacement but didnt work hard enough:rotfl: :rotfl:

    stardrops is usually with all the other cleaners in the supermarket, but often on the bottom shelf as they want you to buy the dearer products. it is a multi purpose cleaner that you can use for just about anything. Its concentrated so lasts ages. Another cheap product I use is Zoflora disinfectant again its concentrated and you only need a capful in a bucket of water to disinfect toilets etc, it smells lovely too.
