I used it on my windows at the weekend. I always used to use washing up liquid, then wipe it off with newspaper which worked ok. I have a dog, my 4 year old and my nephew aged 3 that all put their hands on the back door which is all glass. The vinegar (I put it on neat, not knowing better lol) just cut through the smeared on dirt really easily and left the window clean without having to use too much effort.

i use cider vinager for my Arthritis to help the pain 1 tablespoon of cider vinager with a couple of teaspoons of honey 3 times day. This really helps

My daughter has acquired a cat which like to leave it's mark, I've never know anything take the smell away before but this week we've been mopping up with a solution of vinegar and water and the smell just goes.

You can also sprinkle bicarb of soda over the wet patch and hoover off when dry and it will neutralise odours

Is the honey added for a specific reason or is it just for taste? I'd like to try this remedy but I'm not keen on the taste of honey.

We always gave cider vinegar to the older horses but I'd never thought about using it for us :rolleyes:

If it works for horses then it may work for dogs too. I give one of my dogs homeopathic tablets for arthritis every day but they're so expensive. Do you just mix the cider vinegar with water when giving it to animals?

I used to just add it to their feed buckets, along with garlic and other supplements, so not sure how you'd go about giving it to a dog as I don't think they'd appreciate it poured over their meat

Have you ever looked at Glucosamine supplements? They are excellent for arthritis and is something else we also gave to horses but I know it can be used in dogs and humans too. I can't remember off the top of my head which was the cheapest brand we found, although Newmarket Joint Supplement springs to mind, but I'll check it out for you and post back.

Also, not sure what diet you feed your dog but red meat is bad for arthritis as it's high in uric acid, so you would be better to stick to chicken and rice type diets.
