Can I ask if you happen to have a recipe for Passanda and Patia? I have found
I don't, well not at the moment anyway, but I'm always willing to experiment and see what I can come up with... (just don't expect it to be overnight though as my poor waistline will suffer eating all these curries!
)
In the meantime, for the Patia, how about trying the Dhansak recipe, using prawns instead of chicken and see what you think?"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I made the tikka massala last night and it was yummy!! Thanks C_Q for the recipes. I have lots of base sauce in the freezer now waiting to be used and I have a little curry in the fridge for lunch tomorrow.
I used my stick blender and it worked really well, though I did get really splashed! I must get an apron I think.
I used quorn instead of chicken and marinaded it like you suggest and it took on the flavour really well. Next time I will make sure I use fresh ginger instead of powdered as I had to put the whole jar in!!! I did use frech garlic though.
Thanks again.0 -
I haven't read any of the thread
but as I'm sat here eating an Asda aubergine masala with eggfried rice and plain yoghurt I thought I'd join on the end of the thread cos of the title.
I bet everyone else on here made a Curry_Queen recipe.
Ok I'm going..........Torgwen.....................

You wicked, wicked woman
Just think of the money you could have saved!!!!:rotfl:
Actually, you've made me think now that I should actually cost up some of these recipes and compare them to take-away/restaurant prices
Thing is, it all depends where in the world you live as good curries "oooop norf" cost far less than some of the rubbish they produce "darn sarf" (not counting London of course, which has some excellent places to eat) and before anyone lynches me for saying that, I'm only speaking from my own experiences, and probably everyone in the country has their own favourite curry house"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Massive thankyou to CQ. Made her Chicken Bhuna last night for our Halloween party - and everyone said how wonderful it was - and all asked for the recipe.
You're an absolute superstar CQ - you've made a complete novice in the kitchen feel rather clever:T
I made the base sauce last weekend, and froze it in 425ml portions, and then made the Bhuna last night - after polishing off a bottle of wine to steady my nerves.:shhh:If I can do it - believe me anyone can!!!
Thanks again

Hi Curry Queen
Hope you don't mind me asking but I have been having a look at your thread about Curry Night.
I have printed it off and am hoping to try some soon but is there any chance you might have a recipie for Samber and Pathia sauces (preferably vegetable). Sorry if these recipies have already been posted but I couldn't find anything on a search.
Thanks in advance.0
