  • I got some of these, yellow-stickered at Tesco, a couple of months ago. They are in the freezer right now, but I am going to treat them like normal raw salmon fillets and either bake them in foil or pan fry them.

I use them in scrambled eggs - luxury!
  • Cook some pasta. Lightly fry a finely chopped onion, then add some cream, boil to reduce, then add some of the flaked salmon to it, it will cook very quickly, then add the drained pasta and serve with a green salad.

    are these hot smoked filllets?

if so, they can be eaten as they are, I love them in a salad...

or bung them into a fish pie, or make lovely scrummy fishcakes!

  • Yum, love smoked salmon. As a simple soul, I like it best on coarse brown bread with loads of lemon and black pepper.

Very nice in pasta recipes too. Do some googling. I used to do one with smoked salmon and creme fraiche. Can't remember exactly.

You can heat it up if you want but you don't need to. It's tasty as it is!
