Can I just check a few things with you please?
My mortgage, council tax and water are not included, but gas/elec/tv/virgin media/all other direct debits etc are?
I have one little boy and I get child benefit and child tax credits for him can I include both as extra?
Thanks xx0 -

Thanks xxCheryl0 -
Thanks to peeps for the hugs.
I don't think the final implications of hubby's condition have caught up with me yet -- mainly 'cos I've been expecting the news we got in July since January of last year !! A lot of people I work with have said I seem remarkably calm about it (always hope I don't come over as "cold" as it's a terribly fine line in my eyes), but I've seen three grand-parents die of cancer (two of them lived locally, and one of those spent his last few weeks at my parents house and I had to 'grand-dad' sit a couple of evening as my parents had commitments they couldn't get out of without letting down a lot of people) so I'm not exactly new to it. And I know that I can't do any more than put my trust (and his care) into the hands of the medical teams who have been/are wonderful.Cheryl0 -
Latest update - there really IS a black helicopter!
and the street is now closed off and lined with people. Can't be long now, ETA 4.30 from what I can now hear.

Yes, HRH has been, she even waved on the way past the house! I waved back, of courseShe has now planted the tree and left for Falkirk direction in the black helicopter - anyone over there to welcome her? Sadly, I was unable to ask her for a glove to auction on eBid, although I did think of asking for her brollie. Yes, I got pictures
(Now I know what size to aim for with my diet in 2009! She is so slim and elegant!) I can now happily move house, as I'm not likely to see a real royal princess walk past my front door again! And guess what? I got a telesales call from T*lkT*lk just as she was drawing level with the door!! DS & OH2B found it hysterically funny when I hung up on the guy after telling him I had no time to talk because Princess Anne was at my door. :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll bet they never even believed me! (Sorry, Mr T*lkT*alk man, but I really was telling the truth!) I'll get a piccie uploaded to let you all see that I haven't gone completely insane - Princess Anne really was outside my door.
PS: First narrow escape for the new Rowan tree - black lab just had a wander around it and a sniff before getting called back by his owner! LOL
Edited in - the evidence
The rain started just as HRH was walking along our street! Typical! However, as you can clearly see, Fin (the bloke in the kilt) must clearly be pointing me out as the most frugal person in the town, whilst also explaining that I'm shouting at the T*lkT*lk telesales guy, but that I would wave back just as soon as I had slammed down the phone. :rotfl:
Here we see that, unlike the ex PM's wife who bought her bargains on eBay, HRH appears to save on postage by borrowing stuff from NYK - Royally frugal!
Thankfully, the rain stopped for the tree planting. The small print - Please note that these photographs are all copyright NYKMedia and should not be reproduced in any way, shape or form. Marru - hope you got the toothache sorted. The lady who came to see us on Saturday was brilliant. She spent 2 hours with us and showed us lots of different things to try with the boys. We are doing 15 minutes of touch and 15 minutes command work a day as well as face wraps for both dogs and a t shirt for big dog. We could already see a difference when Dh's brother came round and big dog was so much calmer with him which makes little dog calmer. We are going to call her in a week or two and let her know how we are getting on. I can't thank you enough for pointing me in that direction!
:j:j:j:j:j I am so glad it is working for you!!!
I was calling around dentists today and every single one of them said they are not taking new NHS clients, only private but then I found this clinic that does emergency work and as I was truthfully said that I am in pain (not at the moment thou but psst please don't tell them) they said that if I give them another call tomorrow morning they will get me seen to in the afternoon. I have put a reminder on my mobile with the phone number as not to miss the opportunity.
cw: hugs to you! We are all here for support when ever you need to vent
Mumzy: good luck for tomorrow
Nyk: loved the small print :rotfl:
trex: welcome to our [STRIKE]madness[/STRIKE] frugalness
Off now, have a great evening everybody!
