I have just read somewhere that threads are supposed to be no more than 1000 posts long.
Does this mean we have to pack up and move again?
Hi Janey, I need to check that out. I tried to split the challenge into quarters and the next part isn't due until end of September. So far, the moderators have been kind to us allowing these to run to their dates as opposed to number of postings so moderators, please can we run this for another month? Pleeeeeeeeeease? Then I promise to start part 4 for 1st October 2008
Oh, and are you going to tell the others, or shall I?Sorry, but it's exciting!
MrsHayes, you post away whenever you like.
I have done my good deed for the day, I hope! I'd made a start on the decluttering by freecycling my free exercise bike as it had been relegated to the garden shed by lack of space, I have now also listed some toys that DGD has outgrown. I hope they get good homes and that some child loves them as much as DGD loves her new bike. I've already had two enquiries!
OH, OH! That's not good... an ambulance just went speeding past lights blazing, siren wailing!!
Edited in - Janey, we should be safe enough for a while longer - the quit smoking thread has over 7,000 and the alcohol reduction crowd have over 3,000. So long as they don't all quit smoking and drinking then decide to live off 4k at the same time, then we should be OK.I reserve the right not to spend.

Well! I'm still decluttering but have now found ANOTHER free group to join! It's much the same as FreeCycle and it's local! :j I've now dug out DGD's pink buggy and have been giving this a quick wash before listing it. However, I also dug out all my bridles (from horsey days gone by) but am really annoyed - they are practically ruined by dampness! I had hung them up in the hall last year when we were moving in here and they are completely green with mould! So, you can guess who is dragging everything out of the hallway tonight! We only use it for storage, as the house has been altered at some point to exclude this from the main part, but it looks like that idea has been scuppered. I'm just glad that the leather picked this up quicker than anything else (other than the crumbling walls) did!
Sorry to avoid certain subjects at the moment, I'm pretending I don't notice them until I have my best response fully prepared and ready to action. :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
