((((hugs-Janey-hugs)))) from us all on this challenge, with lots of love. I know we will all be thinking of you, especially through out tomorrow.
Your outfit sounds lovely.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
...So now i have no microwave.. anyone know where i can get a cheap microwave? I dont like electrical things from freecycle. Im so grateful to my neighbour for helping..i want to get him something but what do you get a 40yr old single man
? Maybe a card?
You are so lucky in catching the fire before it spread! And I know this is a little bit inappropriate but what do you get a 40 yr old single man? How about a 40ish yr old single woman?I'm not THAT much over 40 and loads of you on here have 'younger models'. :rotfl:
Re the microwave, I got mine for under £30 from Argos or Tesco or somewhere like that.
Edited in: Just caught up with the other posts. Janey, your outfit sounds lovely. I suspect Tom would be proud of you and I'm sure nobody here will mind having a lumpy, valium garnished, baileys filled malteser as a frugal friend. ((((HUGS)))) from all in our household to all in yours.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Janey (((Hugs))) so happy that you are getting Tom back.
Your suit sounds lovely, much nicer than black to wear to celebrate Tom's life. With a davy crocket hat and a sword he doesn't come across as a "black" sort of person. Is his cat "pooh" missing him,? I was thinking about it the other day..when i was reading some of the old posts, it was the one where Pooh had been missing for a few days.0 -
Just been on a flying visit to asda (its only 5 mins away) as I had forgotten bread for oldies, and DD wanted hairdye:rolleyes: . Picked up 12 hovis rolls for 5p and 4 bunches of organic spring onions for 5p each so have spent 25p will deduct from contingency money.
Tomorrow OH can have omelette for lunch with lots of spring onions, mushrooms and peppers and a little chopped bacon. The rolls have gone in freezer.0 -
Hugs and hoping for good weather tomorrow for Janey & Tom's day.
I can only say that I think Janey's bearing and demeanour have been outstanding and a wonderful example to us all of how to cope under the most awful circumstances. [Please don't anyone take this as a criticism of them, it isn't as I think absolutely everyone on this thread is lovely - really, I do - it's just that Janey has bourne up under this strain so well and with such genuine elegance and style that I thought I should say so publicly [sp?]. ]
Tom's "going away" outfit sounds a perfect reflection of a loving, fun and happy character, Janey's too. May you be blessed tomorrow, Janey, we're all thinking of you.

I'm so glad Tom is coming home Janey. Your suit sounds lovely, and I agree with Nyk, there's nothing we'd like more than a Baileys-soaked Malteser on here with us xxx Take care today, thinking of you as ever xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
