Where do you get things though to open ebay or on-line shops. Obviously, one person sells clothes and another jewellery but once you've decided what your interest is and your market how do you source the items?
Spend hours and hours googling to source your products. Some products have taken me months to find.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

copy-editor and proofreader.
I love it, and wish I'd done it years before I did. Even though I don't have a regular salary my quality of life is far better than when I was part of the rat race.
Hi,
How exactly do you get into this? Do you need qualifications?0 -

I seem to have had the worst experiences of ebay (and paypal) with scammers everywhere. The last time i was so annoyed when they stripped money out of my account I refused to pay and so they closed my account. Now, of course i have had to pay them as they are so tied up legally in their terms and conditions I have had to pay it which is so frustrating. Not only did i loose my goods, have to refund all the money paid to me, I had to outlay the postage (quite a bit as was heavy item) and pay them for the privilage that I wont go down that route again.
However, jobs I have done at home in the past are Avon (ok except I ended up spending more than i made), painting houses (like the lilliput lane ones) which was extremely hard work for the lowest of the low money and I also tried selling good from a catalogue but the focus was too much on recruiting others to sell and then managing them that I was hopeless.
Getting a job outside is much easier and so now do two jobs...DFW 228 LONG H 68
