I've just started running an ebay business but I used to do appointment making from home for a marketing company.0

My partner and I have used Ebay for years now and have a little shop on there. We mostly just sell our old junk - being kids of the 70's and huge attics in our old homes, there seems to be an unending supply of it. As we say, one mans junk is another mans treasure! We have rarely had any problems selling or buying, but yes, there are the odd unscrupulous seller on there that will take your money and run - you just have to be a little careful.
I am also disabled and home bound so am always looking for ways of making extra cash. I design and make very good quality greetings cards and sell to friends both local and online. I love to do it and am always open to orders! I will not put my comm link here as I think that breaks a rule, but I entered it in my profile details so if anyone wants to check out my work they can!
I have a friend who paints ceramic tiles for a local company, but it's quite hard to get into, the openings are filled as soon as one opens it seems. To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. What a great idea for a thread. I'm a therapist so do counselling and supervision from home but only part time, cos I've 3 sproglets. Also, I heard of this thing called texpert where you answer questions from home then text them to the questioner, which might suit some of you??? maybe you, Paul Varjak or Money saving diva because you won't need to get out and about for it?
Don't know whether that texting job will die though with all the pdas coming on to the market...
I once worked for a national newspaper answering calls from readers about sexual problems...that was an interesting one...Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

I have a little web site selling kids clothing.I earn about £80-100 a week from it and only work very part time.It basically looks after itself.I am gradually expanding the business to start earning a decent full-time wage. Its difficult to find the time to get the business making more but at least it is giving me a steady source of personal income, however small."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

I really admire people who've done this - sounds as though this could get huge if you want it to...Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Hi
I work from home selling jewellery - have considered re-training to also do image consultancy. I used work in retail and have sold everything from high-street shop fashion through to wedding gowns.
I've focused on jewellery because it's my real passion.
It means I can give up work and look after my toddler and 5 year old full-time. I've saved a fortune on diesel and childcare which means the business can be a slow burner and let me have the time to build it up. Hoping to be able to focus on it more after august when the 5 year old starts school....0
