Anyone had any issues with downloading the lastest software from pinecone?

I did and it first seemed fine,
I restarted my computer and tried the survey link, it told me there was an error. I restarted my computer again, and now I can't even click the pinecone link without it closing every single one of my windows! and yes, I have allowed it through the firewall etc, and did restart after doing that also.

Anyone else in the same boat

I've also had problems with this. Have Windows Vista on PC. The computer kept freezing when starting to do the survey. Tried to do it on PC wiith XP running and it said that the survey was already completed.

There is another post talking about this problem, if you do a search on pinecone it should come up, I had problems with Firefox not working properly after adding the plug in, I've just disabled it, will have ot remember to enable it again when I get a survey.

It seems they didn't really test it properly, i hate it when these people fix things that aren't broken!

Please do not discuss subjects where you know doing so breaks the t&cs of another company/site. Also, certain topics have caused problems for the site in the past and will either be removed completely or limited to one specific discussion thread. We have no desire to stop you discussing and building the community, but we want to keep this a friendly site. Where there’s contention or the thread is not MoneySaving it will be deleted with no discussion as purely a resource issue.

Regarding none MoneySaving discussions legitimately complained about, such as sensitive racial issues, the thread will be scanned and if considered a threat to this site removed. We are not required to justify this; it is done to protect MSE.

I have recently joined Ciao surveys and I am sent at least one survey a day to complete. When I click 'take survey' and taken to their site - I try to do a survey but when I click their link - nothing happens I just end up with a blank screen. Has anyone else had this problem??

My advice AVOID ciao survey company, no you are not the only one and they do it time and time again, they are also known for offering too low pay out surveys and screening you out after 40 minutes over an over - one of their ways to get free research... It's amazing how many members from earlier on must be unsubsribing to them in the past 6/7 months, I'm one of them, they used to be good so it's a big shame they have gone down hill. :rolleyes:

Thanks! I have actually emailed them to ask why this is happening - if I don't hear from them I will definitely unsubscribe. I am a member of quite a lot of suverys and although I don't always earn points - I am always entered into prize draws. Has anyone out there actually won?
