You can earn few pennies from by filling genuine survey offers. But if there is registration fee to join then assume that it's a scam. These survey list website are selling the same list freely available everywhere!

i won an I Pod shuffle with Onepoll a few months back and i also won a Nintendo WII game from !!!!!!!,
as others have said ciao are not very good payers they sent me a survey that was an hour long and only paid 10p no need to say i deleted that straight away.

yeah, I second that altojack, so I had a look at their privacy policy on the valued opinons website after the email was sent to me:

Cookies

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to the Site and members of our panels including but not limited to the Valued Opinions Panel. This can include using a "Cookie", pieces of information that are transferred to an individual user's hard drive for record keeping purposes.

We have two Cookies which we use in relation to your personal data:

• the Basic Cookie we send to your computer stores only basic information which you enter into the Site, which may include your name, address, phone number and email address. It is possible for Research Now to retrieve the information stored in the Cookie; however this retrieval is unlikely at the current time; and

Not that I go on anything dodgy lol, but I'm sure there are companies out their that pay to know what you visit, I have thta offered to me before, but valued opions would be doing this for free as part of you being a member

Personally I will be sticking with VO, though they have tried to grab my details before (Nielsen anyone?) I do spy-checks weekly and all cookies will soon be erased if they are doing anything the spy-checks do not want (which generally means existing!) so they wont get far by offloading cookies to me-nor to many others.

Dipplynina, I have not had this problem with ciao before, but I do only tend to go onto their site when I am bored out of my skull and have time to waste- so not very often then. I would wait to see what the email says, it could be something to do with your virus protection or firewall- but not too technical so don't know. That said, I was/am able to click through today and its fine for me.

They will get back to you, but it will take time. They are not one of the top sites to join really, but if you have time to spare(waste) it wont do any harm, just don't expect to be paid for every survey you do!

Thanks umm-j for that info, I was wary as didn't know what or how much

detail they would be able to get from me. Didn't want to leave VO as I get regular surveys from them and earn quite a bit from it.:beer:

i've had a good day today, i got my £3 from lightspeed into my paypal account as well as two lots of £1 from opinion world(have made £5 so far from them in last 3 months(and am waiting on around another £6 to be paid))

You're lucky if you receive paid surveys from Opinion World - I can only remember having 2 in the past. Do you also do the other ones where there is no payment?
