I've never had a problem with Global Test Market. I've had 6 cheques from them and just ordered my 7th. They take about 6 weeks to arrive although can take up to 8 but it does say that when you order them. Maybe it is people who actually do have duplicate accounts that have had problems

Only posted saying i hadn't heard from Ciao & Pureprofile & i got an email from Ciao saying there was a problem with my bank so i've had to request the £20 again. This morning there was an email from pureprofile saying my payment was in a queue :rolleyes: ..... its been in that queue for over 6wks.

As for GTM i've never had a problem with them. It can take up to 6wks for the cheque to arrive but it always does. I've had 2 cheques from them in the last 3 months & the last one worked out at something like 1000 marketpoints = £34 which is a lot better than i got a year ago when i got about £23.

Had problems with pure profile too. I had just completed last question on survey and site crashed. Kept getting errors messages and couldnt refresh m- I must have spent 25 mins doing the survey so not particularly happy. Tried to contact them and it kept coming up error. Heard nothing since so have closed my account, just cant be doing with the hassle of it. Hope others have better luck with Pure Profile

yeah, I am in that 'que' too from pureprofile... :rolleyes:

What I wish this company would do is just to be honest to it's members - why send out a confirmation email stating payment will be processed in 21 days.... I'd rather it said 61 days (closer to truth) - cause at least then you know when your redemption IS actually coming. But then I suppose if they said the true time instead more and more members will just think forget it! Especially how much time and effort you make for them in providing research over whatever months (close to year for me to get to the payout), you would think they could be fair in this.

Contemplating maybe not wasting time for this company, it's just good survey sites and far few and between, except the cone one (not sure i can mention lol)

I am sure we all experiencing some difficulties with survey site be it payment, amount of payment and frequency of surveys.

I have been following many of the posts here these are my own personal observations and sense others may wish to share theirs as something "odd" is happening or I am paranoid

I shall start the ball rolling

1) Lightspeed :- surveys have slowed and points offered reduced.

2)Toluna :- slower to payout and EXTREMLEY slower /reluctant to add points (just had some added from OCT 2008)

....I could mention others I ditched Ciao! many many months ago

Now I appreciate that companies maybe adjusting so the frequency of surveys are less BUT from what I have read new members get a real flood of surveys ... yet there am I waiting patiently for the survey on more than one or two panels that I can complete to get my payout or reward!

.I could go on......but have some ironing washing and cooking to do!

Apologies , and I am aware of the individual threads but that wasn't the purpose of the post, perhaps it belongs elsewhere?

If your spending upto an hour at times at the moment and survey panels are being less than transparent I dont feel they should now be posted as a Freebie because it COSTS time without honest renumeration and was seeking a greater broader consensus (if that makes any sense) based om past and current experiences of the experienced.

Apologies and I will try not to cut the palm of my hand shaving again!

just had a cheque from global test market and i got £38.16 for 1110 points and with the Pound being weak against the Dollar at the moment the exchange rates are really good,
they pay 5 cents a point so then it gets changed to stirling and it works in our favour at the moment.
