Thanks jaygray. I'm not sure what to do, I think I will probably hold off like you for a bit. I'm about £8 off the £50 payout in New Vista, so it's not too bad but as you say, the payout for Crowdology is so much better, at £4. :)

Look out for a banner ad. They don't often do referrals and you should NOT discuss them on here as they will fire people from the panel for it.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi littlewren, I got the 'merge' email just now. As I'm only 8p away from earning some PayPal with Crowdology I'm going to hold off for a while in the hopes of sorting that out first. New Vista are apparently doing this as a way of providing their customers with more surveys, which is a good idea, but it will still take some time to get to their payout of £50. The Crowdology payout is £4, which is a lot more accessible! So I'm going to adopt a 'wait and see' attitude for a few days at least.

    Hope this helps. :)

I've had no email merger info! I am so pleased though as I've just last week cahsed out £20 from Crowdology (several years in the making!)

I am using all my survey earnings to pay for Christmas- I have nowhere near the £50 threshold for NewVista (and not for the next year at least at their rate) If they had merged I'd have no Christmas present money!

Well done with the Crowdology payment - I'm on tenterhooks waiting for a survey for just 8p!

I've been surprised - and relieved - by how the odd bit of cash from surveys has suddenly all come together at the right time for me. Or almost. I'm waiting for Lightspeed/My Survey to come through with a couple of PayPal requests - then I'm off to the online shops! It's been a real help with Christmas this year.

  • At least with Crowdology the Paypal payment comes through straight away - I've cashed in some Surveyhead points and it says it will be upto 4 weeks before I get the cash - maybe in time for the New year sales!

When I cashed in some Surveyhead points, it took about 6 or 7 weeks to get their 'confirmation' email, and then another week or so before the money actually went into PayPal.

A really slow process, especially when you compare it to someone like Crowdology. If they can do it immediately, why can't others? It's frustrating - but worth it in the end when the money finally arrives!

After countless attempts, and loads of emails saying they would be making further enquiries, I was at last able to log into the Synovate/Global Opinions food diary tonight to complete it. After all the effort I'd already put in I didn't want to give up! No sign of the extra 9,000 points yet, but mjm3346's post above gives me hope that they will come eventually. Fingers crossed. And eyes ever so slightly crossed from all those questions!
Same here, I did SEVEN days of boring, tedious questions for this diary and then was unable to find the link to answer the final questions, I'm still waiting to hear from them. I think after all that effort they should at last give us the points, after all, we don't do it for our amusement:(

I couldn't find the link for the final questions either, so I nagged and nagged, and then one night I decided to give it one more try - lo and behold, it worked. Since then I've been emailing them a lot to try to get the 9,000 bonus points. As I said in my earlier post, they've promised them 'soon'. 'Soon' hasn't arrived yet.

I think they are one of the more cross-making survey sites in terms of their customer 'service'. Very frustrating.:(

I am back at the 8p-ish wait now! It took YEARS to get to £20, guess I am just not the sort of profile they want to interview a lot (or most!) of the time! Same goes with all survey sites I find (poor, broke, no savings, rent don't own and although I have a degree, its not needed for any work, Shame the £17K student debt doesn't work the same way...)
