Glad Sam is ok Michelle. I hate taking Emily for jabs, she is great at going to the hospital for anything and everything, but for some reason doesnt like the doctors
Been quite productive today, got most of yesterdays list done too. Havent done the meal plan though, need to go have a rummage in the cupboards and fridge/freezer.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
GnB - I thought I was the only one likr that. Most people I know get away with doing what I do everyday only once a week, I don't know how they do it. If I left it all for one day a week we wouldn't be able to move in the place.
I do agree with you though that it's the amount of stuff. I've got loads of stuff waiting to go on ebay and 2 big boxes waiting to go on freecycle and that's just clearing the floors downstairs. I haven't started on the bedrooms or the cupboards yet :eek:gunsandbanjos wrote: »Morning ladies,
The clutter fairy has been again and turned my place into a hovel. How does it happen so quickly? Seriously? My place can be spotless and gleaming one minute, and then suddenly it looks like a bombs gone offThink one of the problems is its so small, so any mess looks terrible:o Need a serious declutter methinks, and maybe some more storage....

So Omega 3 oils do work???
How do you get your kids to take them? Mine just spit them out, does it come in liquid form?
They do work.. and boots ones come in capsule form and mine are more than happy to take them.. they are orange flavoured as well which helps.. They cannot have the haliborange ones though as they are full of crap and drive mine crazy.
DS2 has been so much more focussed since he's been having them and DS3 has calmed down so much it is unbelievable he has gone from a very volatile screaming fighting biting crazy boy to a rather sweet loving little boy who is in control MOST of the time.. I don't want perfection but what he deals out I can now cope with.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks for that Dusty . I don't suppose it could do any harm to give them a try. What kind do you give him?Dustykitten wrote: »Cookie - I hope the HV was of some help to you. My DS3 was really difficult at that age so I put him on the IQ oils and the difference was quite amazing. Even now if he doesn't have them for about 10 days his behaviour deteriorates.Started comping 29/10/2010

Thanks Pigpen I hadn't even noticed. Think the majority have been on this thread too
I just read your last post on the fish oils too, that's fab to know. Strange to think that something so little can make such a huge difference. And I like you don't expect my son to be perfect, just good enough to cope with

My youngest son has Aspergers.. we got half a half-witted diagnosis when he was 3 and no help at all since then.. but we get through. He was horrendous at 3.. he would lash out and bite anyone who stood still, refused to toilet train (until he was 6.5!!) couldn't go anywhere or do anything that wasn't written in stone and routine-a-holic is an understatement.
I sometimes wonder how we got through.. he was dreadful.
After a month at nursery they wanted me to pull him out. They would ring me and see me EVERY DAY when I went to collect him.. to the point I would get other people to go get him because I couldn't face it. One day I simply didn't go.. when the school rang to ask where I was I ignored the phone.. until they rang hubby and he went for them. I pretended I had fallen asleep and not woken up until he just got in.. I was pregnant at the time and DD3 had slept all afternoon.
I feel like a total fraud and such a wuss admitting that now.. I've never admitted I did that to anyone else before.. sshhhhhhh...
Now, he is 9. He lacks in some ways, no self confidence, etc but he is fantastic by comparison. The hissy fits are maybe 3-4 times a month.. usually consecutive days. He only lashes out at a couple of the girls.. the ones 19 months either side of him. He can't share.. not good when you have no option. He is very bad at taking turns but is getting better.
Hopefully in another 6 years he will be able to do those things.. but if he isn't he can stay just as he is cos I loves him!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
