On the hospital thing I guess we’re lucky. I worked at the local one for 7 years then went back arranging the hospital transport for patients in and out, so the staff got to know me really well, (usually came to me wanting something), and of course then when on the A&E vehicles you only have to look at casualty with your own kids and they try and find a hole for you quickly. Guess I’m still fairly well known there even tho been away for 4 years.

I'm usually in and out of there too.. mind you I have only ever needed to take them 5 times in total.. though we were there with 3 children in 2 days once.. and when DD4 dislocated her elbow.. she took her feet off the floor when hubby was taking her to get her pjs on and pulled it straight out.. perks of hypermobility.. we were told it would happen a lot but it has only been the once.. and she never even cried! And the time Tiddles got her hand burned on the radiator.. the heating wasn't installed properly so the timer didn't work and she got her hand through the bars of her crib and on the radiator.. which wasn't meant to be on or she wouldn't have been in there.. ggrr... she has a tiny scar on her little finger but it all healed fine thank goodness.. I took her to A&E in my troll clothes, my hair unwashed and unbrushed with a wet flannel over her hand and wrapped in clingfilm!! .. she was 6 weeks old or thereabouts!!!

    Pc STILL running like !!!!!!...

I have a sideboard to move.. but need to tidy and reshuffle the front room before I can shift it so my front room will be spotless in about half an hour!! Hence it isn't the living room tomorrow!!

Actually.. I think it is my mouse that is not working properly!!

Hi Serena, yes I do, I have an older daughter too.

I had thought this might be the case originally, but I have tried to ignore (as much as is possible) the naughty behaviour and reward the good etc, but tbh this actually makes him worse and when he does get the attention from being bad he doesn't want it. He doesn't listen and wants to go to the naughty step or his room, so I don't think it's that. We also have special time a few times a week where it's either just him and me or just him and his dad or the three of us, whatever he chooses, so I really don't think it's an attention thing.

To be completely honest, I'm not really sure he has control over it at all. I don't think it's something he does intentionally. Sometimes he just does it out of the blue for no apparant reason. But the majority of the time, it's when he's playing with her or we're playing together having fun and he gets over enthusiastic and excited and just lashes out. I'm pretty sure that when he apologises he is sincere, but then he'll do the same thing 5 minutes later without thinking twice.

I'm not sure I'm being clear with how I'm describing it here or not, but I've gone off on one again :rotfl:

cookie - do you have any other children? It sounds like he wants attention from you and not share it with his sister. If he misbehaves, then he gets attention. The trick is to reward the desirable behaivour, and try to ignore the undesirable - and that is just so easy to say and so hard to do!

    Hi

I managed to finish my list apart from the HHI. We went on a 4 mile bike ride to the castle and back and owwwwww is not the word. I haven't been near the bike for a fortnight and i've never gone that far before so i doubt i'll be able to walk in the morning.

I need to do my big shop tomorrow. I usually do it online but i want to use my voucher from NOW. Then it's lunch with my Sisters in the mega cheap cafe where i can get lunch , drinks and cake for me and Ds2 for about £3.50.:money:

I suppose i'd better find tomorrows list.

You turn your back for a minute and 4 pages have appeared!!!

Dustykitten - the twins are 9. I went into school this morning and managed to find three jumpers lurking around their pegs. And when they came home tonight they had another three with them. I thought we'd only lost 4!!

When the teacher saw me in the corridor, she said "oh are you looking for me?" and that immediately got me thinking, Is there a reason you would think I would be looking for you!" brain cogs whirring..what have they been up to? .

I decided to take advantage of the lovely evening and take kids to the rally park, so apart from a quick S&S, making dinner and putting the vegbox stuff away, the kitchen was put on hold til tomorrow (which of course nver comes;) )
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

    evening all,

after reading the thread had lots of personalised comments but my brain is fried so can't remember any of them now!

had relatively productive day at work, not flying-wise but can't do everything. was working late so didn't get back til 8.20 by which tine Mr T had been and DH had put most of it away. :D must remember that one!

tomorrow I have a meeting about 1 hour from work at 12, need to decide whether to go straight there or into the office first. not sure its worth it for 90 mins in the office but at least travel would be in their time not mine then....hmmmm.

because of religious beliefs where i'm doing the meeting / talk i need to cover up tomorrow - typical when its gonna be hot! oh well, would rather be respectful!

right, bed for me i think, before i zzzzz here!
