    Blimey!

I have been sitting here reading these pages for what seems like forever and I am only at page 7, skips to last page. :)

I am def going to give this a go tomorrow.

However, I have just found my Doves yeast packet in my veg basket (?), I think it must have been out of the fridge for about 4 days, do you think I should buy some new yeast and bin this one?

I have never kept my yeast in the fridge (never occurred to me that I should!) and it's always fine, my current packet (also Doves) has been on the go for a month or so and I make bread/pizza dough weekly.

I may give it a go then and see how it goes.

    Ta.

I have made the brioche but not with the chocolate Ganache, that looks fantastic!! Yummy, I might have to make that now, was the Ganache hard to make?

This recipe looks great - specially cos I don't have a breadmaker. This is probably a daft question but what do you mean by unbleached all purpose flour? and how long would you bake rolls for and at what temp?

    Thanks

All purpose flour is normal Plain Flour (not bread flour).

I'm not sure about the unbleached part but when I've made American recipes asking for this I just use normal white flour and it worked.

    Hope that helps. :D

Sorry, it's not mine, I haven't had a go at the basic bread yet!

I found the pic at Amazon.com where you can click on some of the pics from the book.

Ok, so I am off to Tesco to buy some flour later, is it the general opinion that white plain flour is better than bread flour?
