This looks great. Want to give it a try - looked on 'zoe' website but can't seem to find the basic recipe/method. Am I blind??? Please help!!Wooligans member 2010 - 6 animal blankets. 2 angel wraps, 2 baby hat, 4 Aaron squares, 5 cardigans

To be honest, I am finding the Artisan bread thing a bit hit and miss. I mixed up some last night, left to prove or whatever for two hours and then had a go at my previously fab cheese topped baps. These did not rise atall. The dough does not appear to have risen one bit in the container.
I am currently using ordinary yeast which they said was ok in the video? Now I am left wondering yet again, was it the flour, the yeast or my efforts. My previous lot with the same ingredients came out lovely.
For some reason my loaf was a disaster in my Panasonic too!!! Tried making the milk loaf and that came out half size. Bit disheartened with breadmaking all round at the moment.:(Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Well I tried the original recipe then tried Greenman's (post 311) and it worked even better than ever!
However it is a smaller quantity than the original, so I was wondering if you could just double it?July Win: Nokia 58000 -
I was really looking forward to trying this and when out today bought some sea salt but now I've discovered that I only have Sainsbury's plain flour - not strong plain flour. Is it worth trying it with normal plain flour or will it be a waste of time? Really annoyed because I was *sure* I had some strong flour!0

I have used both & frankly I found it better with ordinary plain flour than the strong bread type! HTH:DNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . I'm still having trouble perfecting this!! my ds loves it as it is and always asks me to make more, but I find it a doughy in the middle and a really hard crust. As i'm writing this I'm thinking maybe I should turn the oven down a bit!! will try unless ayntbody has other suggestions.0

^^^Sounds like the oven is too hot. I cook mine on 200c for about 10 mins and it comes out fully cooked .July Win: Nokia 58000
