i managed to get a umbro watch and bag from gateshead store.  staff very nice, even when they knew it was off the ro list still went searching for it.  wouldnt give up.

I asked if i could see the RO list at the Newton Aycliffe store yesterday :P They completely refused! :-X saying it was for staff only! ha! ha!

I got my Dyson but it was not easy, thta lot in mill hill will not budge and you have to be really crafty and dogmatic, but i too had travelled alll the way from east london on the strength of a reservation, i do not like my time being wasted or injustice so I stood my ground and the twit that is called Andy admitted defeat lol ;D
if i was you I would reserve the items again and then get on to milton keynes customer services and read the riot act about mill hill, they can actually make the store hold these items for you untill they 'find' them

Thanks for the advice, sounds good, but the thing is I do actually believe they dont have the items. I know this because I reserved a Delonghi Argento gift set (toaster/kettle) for £12.49. When I went into the ex-clearance room before buying and collecting my reserved items, I saw what I thought was another Delonghi Gift Set. I thought 'ooh another bargain!' but thought I'd leave it as Id already got one reserved. Now anybody could have picked it up and bought it right there in that room as they have a till there too. But it was actually THAT box that the staff picked up as my reserve item - so it hadnt even been reserved in the first place as all the RO items (save jewellery - they had my watches taken out form the jewellery room) are suppose to be in that room.

Andy's lousy excuse was that we have thieves who may have taken your items. ??? Duh!!!!

Our arguement was that why are still goods available to reserve when you dont even have them. Having said that it's a great idea and Im going to go and see if I can reserve those items again!
