Sorry I know this is a bit off topic, but I know some of you have been buying things and posting on to others.

I have managed to place a duplicate order at Boots and another moneysaver wants this item. I do have the option to return it to Boots, but would prefer to help the other moneysaver out by selling it to her(at cost + p&p).

The thing is the other moneysaver is relatively new to the site, so I don't know much about her. I have no reason whatsoever to think this person is not what she says she is, but this is the net. :-/

Is there a way to protect myself and still sell to her?

    Hoping someone can help

    Thanks

During this whole thread there has been quite an element of trust and camaraderie of which i have never seen on any other boards.
hopefully tomorrow i will be sending a cheque off to someone i have never met before either.
Have you spoken to the person ?
Do you both have a paypal account ?
Or wait until you have cleared funds before posting the item.

Not really an answer....but you could get her to pay the funds into your account first...but then she's got to trust you just as much.

I personally have sent items to several people from this site, both new and long term users....and have never yet been let down by any of them. I like to believe that users in this community supports and care about each and that means to a certain extent taking people 'on trust'. But I do take your point and there may be a way I don't know of.
