Excellent news on those missing payments...........I'm with you on the big debt payments - our minimums are over £1400 a month....but as Seaxwyn says, we are in this situation, so all we can do is to get ourselves out of it!

Looks like its going to be a nice day today and hopefully tomorrow. Going to work shortly. Ds2 is off on a cub trip so I need toe back and have him fed and watered before 12.30 when he is getting picked up. DD1 is away for a sleepover so she will need collecting later. Oh has gone to work not due back until 1.30ish. Better go and get some washing on the line, as I still have a mountain.

Pegged out 2 loads of washing. Did car boot which was a waste of time. Made £15.00 and came home with most of it. Hardly any children so none of their stuff went. The most annoying thing is that I could've worked in the morning. As it was did 5 hours this afternoon. Working tomorrow morning but taking cat to the vets first thing, to get him sorted.going to bank tomorrow to pay £115 off 2 cc. They will be clear then and I can use 1 to move a balance as it is coming to the end of its 0%. Just beaten oh at badminton in the garden and now a very sweaty betty so off for a wallow in the bath with a shandy.

Just got back from work, I am there again tomorrow then nothing until weekend. Dropped cat off at the vets so he will need picking up later, hopefully not a large bill. Didn't get chance to go to the bank as it wasn't open, will have to do the tomorrow. 1 load of washing dried on the line and back in, another hung out and 1 washing. Tomato pasta for tea tonight, trying to motivate myself to make a raspberry pavlova, but I think its too hot. Children are not trying to kill themselves at the moment so all is calm.

Phoned Abbey National and got my rate reduced from 21.9% down to 12.9%. I will still try to get this balance moved. Had a visit from a new oil company today, the chap used to deliver my oil and has left the company after 18 years! When I last had my oil delivered he could've saved me 6p per litre!! Due to oil problems in March I had to have an extra delivery this year. Normally I only fill up once per annum. I have been with my currant company for a while paying by dd as I am never organised enough to save the money to pay as I receive it, which would give me the chance to shop around. I owe £397 to the oil company and I have increased my dd to £50 per month. I have a gadget that phones the company up to tell them I need a delivery, I have decided to cancel this so that will save me £20 a year. I will have to remember to go and dip the tank so I don't run out. I had also planned to get a top up in August/September so that I could take advantage of cheaper (hopefully) prices.
Made beefburgers for tea tonight, they were still a bit bland so next time I need to put something in with a bit of a kick.
Picked cat up he is ok and up to his usual mischief. Cost £34. Contrary to the above post I am working tomorrow after all so hopefully I can get some extra money.

Off to work shortly. Got 2 loads of washing to peg out and another in the machine. I will go to the bank today and pay 2 ccs off. Then will have to get oh to find out if they are doing a good 0% deal. Weather is still glorious, might take the children to the river again. Have a good day.

Another day dawns wet and gray. Finally managed to get to the bank yesterday and pay off 2 cards. Made a payment for £35 on another card. Also had to pay £86 for getting some horse rugs washed, repaired and re-proofed. It saves me having to buy new ones. Next time I think I will have a go at doing it myself. Worked 6 hours yesterday. In again today and probable most of the weekend. DS1 has announced he doesn't want to come today. Thanks for the support son! Well better go and do battle.

As it is a new month, I am hoping to keep in budget for the shopping which is £336 as I went over last month. I will also have to keep some back for when we are in London and need to buy things then. Managed to put £30 away for dd1s ski trip this week just need another £10 for this week to meet the weekly target.

Been to work. Hoping to put some money away for spends for our London trip this week. Have finished weeding one of my veggie beds and planted out some cauliflower plants. I have put some fleece over them and the cabbages to keep the butterflies and rabbits off. Fingers crossed it works. Applied for a 'new' Abbey cc which has 13 months 0% and no balance transfer fee so I hope I get it..
