Catch the train on Wednesday morning, just hope we get parked ok. Have heard on the grapevine that the tube drivers are thinking about striking for a few days while we are down. Honestly do they not know we are coming and its forbidden? Also not too sure which bus to catch if thats the case, waiting for an e-mail from my sister in Turkey with some numbers. Looks like we'll have a bit of walking to do. Glad I got my feet done!!!

Placed my Avon order early as we are away when it is due. Just bought an easi-yo system so I am looking forward to playing with that when I get back. Will have to go to the os board for some tips and ideas. Last day of work tomorrow and then massive house clean. Did living room and shower room today also emptied 1 fridge and have that to finish cleaning. 2 loads of washing dried in tumble drier and a little bit of ironing to keep on top of. Got turned down for 0% Abbey card will have to move balance elsewhere. Oh has applied for Tesco 0% card, best keep my fingers crossed.

Still got packing to do. Off to work shortly, then mega house clean and iron, then pack, fit tea in somewhere and have a soak in the bath. Are there enough hours in the day?

Well I'm back, anybody missed me?..............Nope didn't think so. Had a great time at Mamma Mia still humming Abba songs. Went to the Horse Guards Museum, which was a bit of a disappointment. Did Churchills War rooms which was very good as you had these hand held telephones to carry round and you plug in the numbers and it gives you the blurb about each room. Children enjoyed playing with those. Off to Covent garden to catch a few street acts, tea and then the theatre. Science and history museums on the Saturday. Sunday the boys went to the Golden Hind and HMS Belfast and the girls went to Camden market with a barge ride to Little Venice.
Home last night with a suitcase full of washing. Called into work tomorrow, much to OHs disgust but its all money. Made a payment of £70.22 to a card. Think thats about it.

Welcome back! It sounds as if you had a great time. You certainly packed a lot in. I live near London and I haven't been to all those places.

And you've made a debt payment on return - that's impressive.

Hi Seaxwyn, just read your thread and thought about your trip to the zoo, thinking I was there not so long ago. Sorry you missed it, have you got your reading done?

Worked 3 hours this morning, shot off to see my boys, as Oh was in charge of the children. Managed 45 min ride. Old boy has got an abscess and has had his front shoes removed. Farrier said he should be still rideable but we shall see. Due to the wet weather he has lost condition, I really need him to get some weight on to see him through the winter. That means I will have to get him some different feed which is approx £10 per bag. My boy is very barrel like and could do to give some of his weight to the other one.
Not working tomorrow but probably the weekend. Can't believe the summer hols are nearly over. Life will shift up a gear once they are back at school. Have to do the school shoe run shortly. Not looking forward to buying 4 pairs but hey ho.

Unpacked Avon order and re-packed into bags for customers, now all I have to do is get it delivered. Will probably be working tomorrow and will have to take the children with me. Paid £190.86 off 2 cards which brings Augusts total monthly repayments in at £1224.24. Just think of the things I could spend that on. Also indulged in a euro millions ticked and as the jackpot is £70 million........just think of the things I could spend that on!!!!!! I don't mind sharing £35 million is still ok.

Went to the beach today, had a lovely time. Got a bit sunburnt. Oh is going for the lobster look post cooking. Hoping to have a BBQ tomorrow. Hope nobody has too many withdrawal symptoms tomorrow.
