On today's great list of things to do I think I'm going to venture into the garden. Managed to get all the childrens bedding washed and line dried (love that smell) yesterday. Mine is in the wash and hopefully should get dry and back on the bed.

My mum bought me some raspberry canes so I need to pull the dead ones out and replace with the new ones. I have a compost bin that needs emptying so when I have replanted the raspberries I can start putting some on them and on the rhubarb.

We went out for tea last night, courtesy of mum, I had deep fried Brie, sausage with bubble and squeak and then.........Baileys cheesecake. Do I feel like an elephant (yep, look like one to). Pity the poor horse next week.

Going to make Leek and Potato soup for lunch.

Baileys cheesecake sounds lush - it would have been wrong though to go out for a meal and not have that!

I love line dried bedding - smells all lovely and fresh - cant wait till we get some decent weather to put the washing out on the line!

Hope neddy is ok x x

I like making cheesecake but sometimes the gelatine can mess me about.

Horses I think are fine as I have seen them over the fence once and the look of panic on my boys face was priceless when he thought he was going to get ridden!

Raspberry canes planted. Just making home made chicken korma for tea then going to hit the sofa.

Taking mum back tomorrow. New computer arrives on Thursday.

I applied to a charity on behalf of my son (dyslexic) to get him a more up to date computer as this one is likely to die at any moment. It can't run certain programmes which frustrates DD1 as she wants to put music on her ipod and it wont do it. So, we were awarded one with lots of software for dyslexics and they are coming to install it on Thursday.

I have done loads of paperwork this morning all sorts of bits that had been put to one side. I was on such a roll manged to get a letter done to the landlords regarding the damp and the fact that the window frames are rotten.

OHs business has been busy today and I have been phoning for quotes for things. Its amazing, especially in the current climate how many people don't phone you back when you are after prices etc. Fingers crossed we get the business as I have just submitted some quotes. He has got lots of things to deliver tonight so he will be back late. He has a sore back at the moment but insists it will be ok. Will go and find the deep heat.

Can't remember if I posted that I didn't get one of the jobs I applied for. Received another letter saying they will be considering all the applications this week. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Going to the boys tomorrow (cue the rain). Desparate to have some horse time. I really wanted to bake today but forgot to buy the sugar when I was shopping. The stove is being a git to light today and its freezing. I'm lurking in the office so I can have the radiator on but the children will be home soon and I like to have going for them.

It will be DS1s birthday at the end of the month and OHs. DS1 would like some mole traps and a ferret. Not too sure on both counts. He also needs some new wellies as he keeps nicking mine. Going to see if the stove has decided to light.
