OOoooh, I ache all over. Everything hurts! Going riding tomorrow so that will end me or mend me.
OH is still off but going back tomorrow. Been to Boots and spent a fortune on painkillers, also got some more paper from Wilkos and a couple of cheapy picture frames.
Had DS2s review at the dyslexic institute and his bursary ends in April. With a discussion from his teacher we have decided to keep him on until the summer hols and then keep an eye on his progress in the new school year. If he starts to falter he can go back. I am going to have a chat with my sister to see if she can help as she has offered before.
Still no news on the job front so its looking like I haven't got any of them. All the quoting I did on Monday looks like it has paid off and we have got the job! Trouble is all that goes into OHs business which has got a large tax bill to pay.
Bacon, sausage, eggs, beans and mushrooms for tea. I did succumb to some chocolate yesterday, purely for medicinal purposes only.

Hi Lucielle!
I loved your DS's wishlist - mole traps and a ferret, a proper country boy then. My DD used to hanker for a ferret too.
How annoying about the jobs - keep going, you are bound to find the right one soon.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Still not heard anything job wise. Been up to the boys today and rode by myself. This is a really big thing as both me and the horse lack confidence in each other and especially coming off the other day. He did try to mess about at one point but a quick yank of the reins and a dig in the ribs made him change his mind. I am pleased with myself as I was thinking of all sorts of reasons why I couldn't go on my own
The next couple of weeks are going to be very tight money wise. This weeks wages will be a flat week and next weeks will be down to as OH was off sick. He is still no better and I had to put his socks on for him this morning! However he has gone into work today. Going to go and bake after I have got my tins lined, which I hate doing.
Also had my Avon delivered today so that will need sorting and packing and then get delivered. Having corned beef hash for tea, followed by apple crunch.

Lucielle the aromatherapy thingy I was waffling on about on the other thread is supposed to improve trust between horse and rider too!! Certainly seemed to work last night as the Captain had lost trust in me to make any decent decisions, hence the major napping and tearing around as fast as he could!

I'm not sure we have ever really had trust but I am willing to give anything a whirl. He does ride better in company.

Got 4 fruit cakes in the oven and that will probably be it for today. Have a friend coming for lunch tomorrow and I'm planning to make Quiche. I've got loads of eggs to use up as the girls are laying really well at the moment.
Honestly, DS1 is in for a severe ear bashing when he gets in! He made muffins last weekend, all day I told him to wash the tins up. Got up on Sunday morning and they were gone. Silly me presumed he'd washed them. Just found the dirty tins in the cupboard. Think that must mean a Birthday present off the list!

Been reading a book on horse loading and I am thinking of getting a special head collar for loading and leading. Just eyeballing a few on e-bay. Only got £10 to last until Friday and both cars need feeding. No pressure.
