Well the weather is pants and my plans have been cancelled. I was supposed to be going over to a friends to play with her ponies and get some poop for the raised beds, that's not happening.

Going to a 90s themed fancy dress party tonight (what were the 90s famous for?) OH is attempting to go as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air but as half of his costume hasn't arrived its not looking great. I'm going as Urma Thurmans character from Pulp Fiction. I did think about ginger spice and the union jack dress but as I'm rather rotund I didn't think I should inflict that on the world!

Forgot to mention that DS1s working dog has 9 puppies. Sadly one didn't make it though we did try to bottle feed it. They are 4 weeks old now and cute. Managed to sell 4 and got a card up for the others.

I've been going to a personal trainer in a bid to be less rotund and get fit for Sri Lanka. Did some weights yesterday and boy do my shoulders and arms ache today.

Off to Oban on Thursday with my girls and a friend back on Sunday. Staying in a youth hostel but haven't really got anything planned.

Had a lovely time away, so good booked another weekend to go away with the family!

DS1 has been over the border shearing sheep but is home now. DD2 has been to the capital to have a few days away with a pal.

OH has had a trip to A&E after falling out with an iron bar. The iron bar won and he needed his head gluing back together.

I rescued a hedgehog that's now had an operation and it had pulled through. I think he's going to the local hedgehog lady to convalesce. He may come back to me to be released.

Off out for Sunday lunch with the badminton crew today, looking forward to that.

Got to make the huuugggeee payment for the holiday this week. Not quite at target but will have it cleared by the time we go. Also made appointment to have our jabs.
