What a week.
Last week OH and I went to the Edinburgh markets and had a night away. We decided to get a new tv in the black Friday sales and bought one from JL to be delivered yesterday.
DD2 has got shingles so she's been off school since Tuesday. I've hurt my back but it does seem to be getting better. DD2 helped me blitz the living room yesterday and with the help of painkillers I washed the carpets.
The TV was delivered nice and early. We decided we were going to wall mount it so I bought a bracket and OH came home armed with a drill. Got the tv out the box and the screen was cracked. Back on the phone to JL and now waiting for an email to say when it will be redelivered.
I managed to do a 5K shuffle last weekend. I took DD2 with me and she did nothing but moan then when the chap shouted 'Go' she shot off like Usain Bolt never to be seen again.
The cc has taken a bit of a hit. It will be gone by next year, I am determined.
OH is supposed to be going to the races on Sunday but the weather has been awful, so much rain that I think it maybe cancelled.
Hoping to do some Christmas cooking today then I don't try and do it all in one day. Have a nice long weekend off as I'm also off on Monday and only in work for 2 days next week. Happy days.

I'm doing ok, another year older but hey ho. Got whisked away for the night and then all the chicks arrived back in the nest.
TV had arrived and is installed. They haven't taken the dead one away and I'm not sure what's going to happen to it.
Full week at work this week and then less days next week. Going to the pictures on Tuesday to see The lady in the Van.

Chin up....glad you're getting to see a film. We are off en masse to Star Wars on Staurday. Ridiculously excited as going with several families..feels like a real excursion. And got family tickets so about 300% cheaper than the posh place up other end of town

Film was ok. I think we were the youngest there. Poor DS1s dog had some bone stuck in the roof of her mouth. OH managed to get it out, I bet she was so relieved.
Just sat down and written the Christmas cards, a job I really hate.
Got a very sore hip so off to the docs tomorrow.

Hope you feel better soon.
No Xmas cards written yet and looking unlikely now. These days I try to do them once every two years...so kinda keep in touch but makes it less of a burden!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
