Been to the docs and its my sciatic nerve playing up. Doc has advised against doing the 5k I was going to do on Saturday. Strangely disappointed despite hating running. Will come up with another plan. Just glad to have some painkillers that actually work.
DD1 caught her tyre in a pothole and damaged the rim, managed to get it mended for £12. Her little car also passed its MOT.

Hi Beanie, I'll have to check the name out as I can't remember what they're called.
Hope everyone had a good time over the festive period. I'm back to work tomorrow. Boo Hiss
The chaps have paid for us to go to Kinloch Lodge on Skye for a couple of days. So excited I can't wait need to get it booked. Also been organising our girly trip for the year and hoping to eventually arrive at Gairloch. Will be possibly bringing along my friend who turns 60 in January as she was desperate to come along this year and has no children of her own.
Off to the pictures tomorrow night to watch the final instalment of The Hunger Games, will also try to grab a pizza beforehand.
I'm really fed up with technology, have signed up for Netflix and it was working but has now stopped along with the iplayer. something to do with the internet connection but can't seem to get it working. Also the tv we bought last boxing day has also decided not to work. Hopefully OH will be able to talk to the people tomorrow.
Thinking about adding another income stream to the business and doing classic cars, after sorting out DS2s mini they seem to have the bug.
Have spent loads on the cc but have a cunning plan. Also get paid on Thursday. Yippee

Lovely to hear from you Turfy.
So much for the promised update. Well here goes. Just have one card with a balance on which the is at 0% interest. This took a bit of a hammering at Christmas despite the best of my intentions. So the balance in January was a whopping £3803.60. So the cunning plan kicked in and this months statement the balance was £1743.99. However it has been hit again albeit not as big this time.
The lovely chaps paid for me and OH to go and stay at Kinloch Lodge on Skye. They thought they'd got us 2 nights but didn't realise its per person. However its such a long way to do we had 2 nights in different B&Bs. The weather wasn't great thanks to storm Gertrude, I texted a friend saying we've had wind, rain, thunder and lightening and its supposed to snow later on and it was only 9 am!!!!
So this months card bill will show an increase, however I have paid off £281.95 so far and hope to put a bit more to it.
In other news my car is really hissing me off, I've had 3 cracked alloys since Christmas, not helped with the potholes. I am considering changing it as it really cannot go on like this.
Had a couple of stressful weeks and probably a couple more to come. My sister has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. I went to visit her last week which went as expected.....not great.
I'm going down again next week to see mum and just trying to work the logistics out to see her. I'll also see DD1 as well.
