Been a bit of an up and down month. Saw a property I really liked the look of but knew it needed some work. Asked 2 builders their opinion on how much they thought it would be to do up and now realise its not going to be an option. Very disappointed.

Have arranged a couple of nights away with the DDs. We are going to stay in a youth hostel in Crieff. All the costs are going to be split 3 ways and we are taking DD1s car so we can share the driving. Have organised a day of outdoor activities, tornado ride and high ropes then going to Crieff Hydro for afternoon tea. DD1 has spotted a large Munroe to climb me and DD2 have found a caf! to watch her climb it!!!! Looking forward to that. Also got a weekend in London but need to book tickets.

Went out last night with badminton club. Ds1 picked us up.

DD1 has finished school and is now on 'study leave' just hope she does some.

DS2 has started his GCSEs, he finishes next week and has his prom.

On the money front, really trying to clear the cards. Everything is on 0% but just don't want to have them.

Good luck with those cards lovely.

And I'd be in the cafe with you.

Funny when they leave school isn't it?

Have a great Sunday sorry to hear about the houses...

DS2 has finished all GCSEs and he's helping his dad at the workshop. Our part time employee has left us in the lurch and now is no longer employed by us but it has caused major headaches.

DD1 has the bulk of her A levels next week and the will be finished. She turned 18 last Tuesday, went out for a meal. Last night went to see Mrs Browns Boys and Mrs Brown wished her a Happy 18th Birthday. I have just booked tickets for her and OH to go and see Florence and the Machines in September. DD1 will be paying for her half of the ticket.

DS1 is working so hard, he is shearing at the moment, DD1 did go and help with the wrapping yesterday.

DD2 has taken up Cumberland wrestling and has done a few competitions, she came third. Poor thing is still at school, whilst everyone else is off.

I have been to a one day boot camp and loved it. Hated it at the time and in agony the next day but very proud of my achievements. So I have booked to go on another one.

My other niece got engaged, so will have a wedding next year and one the year after. Need to get myself sorted out.

The cc has had a bit put onto it recently, train tickets etc. Have tried to pay off the purchases then the balance doesn't go up (0% on purchases) but I feel there will be a slight increase.

Work has been ok this week and resisted the urge to kill anybody.

Managed to go to Circuits this week. I've been trying to go for ages but life kept getting in the way. Would like to go again today but wonderful DS2 has messed that up. They were all at the Young Farmers rally at the weekend and he managed to leave one of his boots on the bus which he needs for this weekend as he is doing part of his D of E. So I'm armed with the sat nav to go and find the bus company, which luckily have the boot. Hopefully it's the right one!

Was supposed to go and ride a friends horse last night but she forgot she had an appointment, hope I can go next week.

Played badminton and went for a walk last night. Have a sort of cunning plan to get 1 of the ccs seriously reduced. Just need to stick to it.

Still sticking to the plan to reduce cc1. Seem to be leaking money all over at the moment. OH has sprung a daytrip to the Yorkshire Show on me, not sure how we are going to manage that.

DS2 has just about got everything for Madagascar, just over a week to go until he flies.

I have applied for another job but doubts are creeping in, like what if I don't like it....will I be good enough etc Stayed up till midnight sorting out my application and CV.

Paid the final instalment for the holiday cottage so that's looking good to go and got some spending money saved up.

No news re the job....don't know if that's a good thing or not. Been down to see my mum and took her out for the day. She seems to be content but has started to lose her teeth which was a bit disconcerting. Also saw my sister, she is still as difficult as ever.

Had a nice meal out with my stepdad. Called in to a garden centre which will be near to DD1 when she goes to uni to hand in her CV but they only take online applications.

Met a real twonk on the trip down who nearly caused a head on collision, eeejit!

DS2 is off to Madagascar on Monday so have got the day off work. Off on Wednesday as going to the Yorkshire show. Got half a day on Thursday as getting my hair done and then going to London on Friday night to my sisters party and then its our girly roads trip on Monday to Crieff until Thursday. Back to work on Friday for a rest!
Still trying to make weekly payments to the card but could possibly struggle this week as we have so much going on.
