Hello peeps. DD1s trip has gone slightly pear shaped in that one of the girls has lost their passport and they can't go to Laos. I was feeling sorry for the girl until DD1 reported she wasn't sorry now I have murderous thoughts. It will be 3 weeks this Saturday since she left.
Off to Londinium this weekend for big sis party, the theme is Druids and Hippies. We are both going as Druids and OH does look more Gandalf the grey, I've even got him some stick on horns!!! I'm more medieval wench and I've got a silver circlet to wear which I adore.
DS1 has finished shearing and has started his new job this week. His dog is enjoying being back at work, though did have a funny turn the other day due to the heat. She seems ok now.
Went to a lovely evening reception at a famous garden here and it was simply stunning. In other news I purchased a dress (I now own 3!) and some wedges, which I'm hoping to travel to the smoke in.
I've been doing a July challenge and managed to lose 5 1/4 LBs, it also means I've broken through the next stone barrier which I've really been struggling to do. Just hope I don't blow it at the weekend!
Money seems to be scarcer than ever. Had to renew the tax credits and we now don't qualify. The accountant has advised me to phone to make sure they aren't including OHs empolyment in as he is now fully self employed.
Just bought DD2s school uniform, got to get school shoes but I'll wait until DD1 is back before doing that. Booked DSs and DD2s eyes to be tested and whilst in town will have the gauntlet of DS2 buying trainers. As previously stated this is very stressful time for me trying not to kill him!!!!
Hens are still free range I had hoped that with the raspberries coming into season OH might've built the pen as he loves the raspberries. At the moment the hens are winning and I can see them doing all sorts of acrobatics to get them.
Had to sit the final exams for my NVQ, passed 2 and will wait to hear what the results are on the others. Off to stir the curry.

They are also partial to the odd mouse! Would never have believed that until I saw 2 squabbling over one, it wasn't pretty!
Forgot to say had to buy another new iron, hate spending money on things like that!
DD2 has got 2 days booked to play horses, she was one happy chappy when I told her about that.
