Today saw us up bright and early.... 2.30am to be precise. DD1 has been deposited at the airport to fly to Heathrow at 6.15am and then hang around until 3.15pm and long haul to Thailand. She should be at her final destination at 12ish tomorrow. Don't envy anybody being round her then. Meanwhile I went back to bed. Haven't slept very well this week due to noisy cockerels. I hate to say it but they are on borrowed time.
Went to DS2s awards ceremony this week and he had a slot for his drama, he is such a comedian and had the 300 odd people in stitches.
DS1 has been away to the Yorkshire Show for a shearing competition he did slightly better and represented his college as well.
Had to go shopping with DD1 before she left so she has some clothes for sixth form. When she went away last weekend she only went and left 1 shoe on the bus, I've been trying to get in touch with them but nobody is answering the phone.
Had to get some new undercarriage for me so put an order in to Sir MacAlpines for the iron work (aka bras) and came out of M&S £80 lighter! Why are they so expensive? I did get DD1 some sports bras as they will be more comfortable for trekking in the jungle.
Still hot, hot, hot here. Will probably go to the river later and I may even be tempted in myself.

Poor DD1 has managed to communicate and her camera isn't working and she hasn't been able to find any disposable ones to buy. Feel so fed up for her, she's also been a bit homesick. Her first week over with.
Went back to the river this week, it was slightly warmer but the horse flies were viscious. Got bitten on my neck evil little blighter.
DD2 has finished at her school and had leavers assembly in church yesterday. My back is still protesting at how uncomfortable the pews were, I felt my spine conertina up and its not quite unravelled yet. Managed to walk 3 miles most evening this week, enjoying the weather.
Off to book tickets to London for sisters party and restock the food cupboards, also collect DD2 from sleepless over and then maybe some cleaning, deep joy.
