Had an ace night and remembered from last time that the cast come out of the arena round the back to meet and greet. Dragged OH round, who didn't have a clue what I was doing. Waited about 10 mins and then had piccis taken with Grandad, Buster, Dino and Mrs Brown!!! Made the night. Had great seats and laughed loads.

Hello, hope everyone is well. I've been uming and ahing as to whether I should keep the diary going. Part of me wants to but another feels like I might be rubbing peoples noses in it........ Plus I'm not sure I'll be allowed.
So a quick update. Money still seems to be uber tight despite not having the debt. Still dishing loads out but not much coming back in.
Had a quick trip last weekend to go parent sitting and took DD1 with me. I was dreading it but it went ok and managed to kill an afternoon in one place. Its not easy finding places to visit that are wheelchair friendly and mum is so doddery on her pins. She nearly fell getting back into the car after our visit to the pub. Luckily stepdad grabbed hold of her backside and sort of spooned her into the car. I told her it was terrible the things she'd do to get a quick grope!!!!!!
DS2 and DD2 have both been very active with the Scouts and had 2 camps. 1 included climbing up the Cheviots and camping overnight. DD2 decided she was going to bivvy until they goe sideways raind and her brother took pity on her and shared his tent. They had to take their own tea and cook it. They took tomato pasta, they pre cooked the pasta. So there they were on top of a big hill, everybody else eating pot noodles or beans when one of the leaders asked DD2 what she was doing "Just cooking my onion and garlic before adding my tomatoes!" The look on his face apparently was priceless.
DD1 is off on Sunday to Harper Adams for a couple of taster days. She comes back at midnight on Monday I'm hoping shes got a lift home. She's been helping her brother wrap wool when they've been short staffed. A week on Saturday she flies to Thailand!!! She's off to get her hair cut tomorrow, along with DS2.
Had DS1s award ceremony for finishing his agricultural apprenticeship. Gosh that was a long day. Was shattered by the time I got home.
Still trying to build my savings pots back up but its taken forever. Think I'll take the chaps swimming in the river.
