Looks like the rim is damaged on the tyre. Local blacksmith place is having a look to see if it can be fixed, or its a whole new tyre and rim. My joy is overflowing.......

I share your pain Lucielle - I just had a £500 bill on my car for damage done to the suspension due to potholes.
Last year it was £300 pothole damage. My driving is now becoming extremely slalom like as I dodge the giant craters that liberally cover the roads around my way. I'm going to be stopped by the police soon, and accused of drunk driving...0 -

The rim has sort of been mended, swapped the back one for the damaged front one. Seems to be holding at the moment. Hope it behaves when we go on our road trip to Skye. Speaking of which, I bought some more lambing bits and bobs, spray, tuber, colostrum and feeding bottle, to go with the drugs my farmer friend got me.
Weather has been quite nice so we went for a walk this morning. Cooked one of DS2s turkeys leftover from Christmas, so lots of turkey to make meals with.
Been steadily watching season 2 of the Game of Thrones, a bit gutted that we haven't got Sky as season 3 starts tonight. DS1 is going to be annoyed as its his boxset but we couldn't wait any longer.
Got the joys of Prom dress shopping tomorrow. Yippee! I'm so not a girly girl and neither is DD1, so fun, fun, fun.
Right last dvd to go.

Prom dress and shoes purchased. Her ears have also been pierced, 1 in each lobe and in 1 ear she's got a piercing at the top. The dress is a classic and will 'do' for other ccasions. Managed to purchase it from Barbour and it was half price, shoes from Next. Skyscraper heels which will kill her feet but its nearly done now. Hair appointment has been booked and she needs to decide whether its up or down.
Off today and then back for 2 days. Going to nip into the village and do some banking, money seems to be racing out of my hands at the moment. Going to make turkey and broccoli bake for tea. Also as its a nice day got the bedding to wash, second load in the machine.

I've had to don my supermum cape and knickers today. OH ran out of fuel so had to go and rescue him and Morris. Return with fuel to feed Morris. Then DS1 rolled up his works quad had run out of fuel so he needed running back and re-fueling.
DS2 and DD2 were away at Scout camp and had to cycle 26 miles, both complaining of sore butts and the Scout master was as well. Rather them than me! DS2 apparently had a funny turn and passed out on th ride. I think it was due to low blood sugar, luckily the Scout master caught him before he hit the deck.
DD1 has been away lambing at the farm she helped at last year. She wasn't very impressed as they didn't pay her anything and according to her was a glorified skivvy !!! childminder. Its so hard for girls, I feel for her cos that's what used to happen to me.
Supposed to go to a freinds for lunch today but she phoned to cancel. Would've been nice to see her but it means I can maybe finish my book.
We had to stocktake on Saturday which is the most boring job in the world and took us until 7.30. I've just finished typing it up.
Not long till I go to Skye. Hopefully DD2 will get permission from school. I've been making lots of meals to take with me. DS2 has just cooked flapjack. Not sure I'll be able to keep my paws off it.
